First,I would like to thank the landlord Jorge for being so accommodating to my friends and I. He answered the phone whenever we called and was very helpful! Three friends along with myself stayed there, and just as the previous review says, the condo looks EXACTLY as the pictures!! We got there late at night and were not able to check into the hotel until the following morning, so we arrived at the hotel and the doorman was ready with many suggestions of bars, restaurants to go to.We stayed out all night and arrived at the hotel 2 hours before check-in, and Jorge was willing to let us in 2 hours early considering we got there 10 hours prior! Some bars/restaurants also 24 hour! The balcony view was beautiful every morning.One of the doorman Hector were very helpful in telling us what places we should visit, he was very friendly and informative. Coming in and out of the hotel we stopped every time to talk to him, at first for information, but it turned into a friendship and us telling him about all the shananagins we got into that day. I've never had a doorman that helpful or friendly, and my friends agreed.The buses in Isla Verde also run every 15 to 20 minutes and they are 50 cents, yup 50 cents!, the bus stops about twenty feet from the hotel exit. We took it to old San Juan and the ferry ride to the Bacardi factory is 75 cents.Call ahead, the times of the tours change throughout the week. I would recommend stopping at the Walgreens which is directly across the street by the way,and buying essentials there(beer, liquor and wine available!).A 24 hour bar and restaurant is looked a few blocks from the hotel,El taquito,there prices are very low, you can get a margarita and burrito for under $10, we ended up there at the end of every night! The locals are very nice and became familiar with us after coming there for two days! There are also coffee/pastry shops near by along with a number of clothing stores.Police make their presence known in the area, but its so people are aware that they're there! Old san juan is good for the night scene,many options of bars and clubs, both touristy and for locals. My friends and I ages 23-25,went to a bar called senor frogs in old San Juan, which has games and gets the crowd involved in cha-cha slides,karaoke,and dancing games,very fun place!The rain forest is also a must see! Jorge and Hector,thank you so much for making our stay easier!This is a GREAT vacation rental and location.We couldn't have asked for better service:
