'THE ESCAPE' BEAUTIFUL 3 BEDROOM 2 BATH HOUSE ON A GULF ACCESS CANAL

Whether you want to get away for just the weekend or longer, this home rental will exceed your expectations. The home and yard were as shown in the pictures, but what a picture can't tell you is how peaceful the neighborhood is and how well located it is to many restaurants, shops and the beaches.
We wanted to get away from the stress of city life just for the weekend and arrived late Friday evening. It was actually easy to get to and find from the main highway.
As soon as we opened the door the warmly decorated living room greeted us and as we checked out the kitchen, bathrooms and the rest of the bedrooms we could definitely see that upgrades had been made to the home.
The couches in the living room are so comfortable you can easily fall asleep watching TV or a movie.
In the morning we checked out the backyard, which is bigger than what you can see in the photos. There are some chairs by the canal where I sat to read for a while and saw a few fish jump. So if you are interested in fishing off a dock you are in luck here. There is also access to dropping off a jet ski or small boat if you so desired. Depending on the season you may also be in luck to find some avocados to make a salad or mangos for a smoothie.
When starting to plan our day we looked through pamphlets and maps provided by the owners that were located by the main door, which was very thoughtful. We located several coffee shops nearby even though there was a coffee maker and all the other kitchen utensils and such necessary to make our own breakfast if we had wanted to.
Since the weather was gorgeous we took a drive to the Ft. Myers beach, which was only about 15 minutes away. In the evening we went to a local restaurant, once again within a short driving distance.
They also have an in ground jacuzzi, which is very relaxing to just sit in while listening to the crickets at night. The back porch has soft lighting or candles depending on the mood you want to set.
We happened to have very good weather all weekend, but if there had been a rainy day there were board games or video games we could have used to entertain ourselves.
This home offers everyone a retreat from the everyday hustle and bustle, while still feeling like a home away from home.
To be honest, we didn't want to leave when the weekend was coming to an end and are looking forward to coming back in the future.
