Jardin del Mar is in a complex of houses and 2 storey apartments, with designated pool areas, situated approx 5 min drive from Torrevieja town centre and beaches and about 30 miles from either Alicante or Murcia Airport. They are also ideally placed for a short golf break with four courses all within a 20min drive of the apartment. There are bars, restaurants, Carrefour supermarket, the Habaneras shopping Centre, Aqua-park, Bowling Alley and a Sports Complex all within walking distance of this holiday rental property on the Costa Blanca.There is a 3 bed, 2 bathroom,2 solarium house available also nearby.This is a popular area close to salt lakes and nature parks, suitable for walking and cycling. There is a bus stop nearby with a regular bus service to the town centre and blue flag beaches. The Costa Blanca is an ideal location for a summer or winter sun holiday with an average of 320 days sunshine each year. Torrevieja is a fast developing Mediterranean coastal town situated approximately 30 miles from Alicante / Murcia airports on the Costa Blanca, in the south east of Spain. It is easily accessible due to the main N322 road and the A7 motorway .It is situated next to the sea in the south of the Valencian Community and it boasts lots of beaches, a natural park and salt lakes where there is an abundance of flamingos and other wildlife. Due to the vicinity of the salt lakes, Torrevieja benefits from a microclimate that has been a long favourite with the Spanish and Nordic tourists who come year after year for its beneficial effects. Torrevieja has even been voted as one of the best places to live by the World Health Authority.

Torrevieja: A popular place to stay, Torrevieja caters well for tourism, with plenty of activities on offer by day or night although it isn't a resort in the package holiday sense.The town provides first class facilities for lovers of all sports - there are golf clubs, a flying club, a variety of water sports and the municipal stadium with an athletics track, sauna and covered courts for tennis. Visitor numbers increase greatly during the summer months of July and August, and Easter is another popular time, it's no wonder with a fantastic climate, lots of restaurants and shops galore, Torrevieja is the ideal choice for a fun-packed holiday in the sun. It is also ideally placed for a short golf break, there are many professional golf courses within 20 minutes drive from the accommodation, notably Villamartin, Las ramblas and Campoamor.

Zenia Boulevard, the largest shopping centre in Europe which opened on 25 September 2012, is a five minute drive away. Zenia Boulevard has a traditional Mediterranean design, featuring more than 600 trees and 55 different plant species in the various gardens and open spaces which give colour to the shopping centre. Its layout is designed to reflect a typical Spanish village, with various “town squares” such as Plaza London Square or Plaza Mayor linked by “streets” lined with shops of every description.

The centre accommodates popular national, international and local brands such as the hypermarket Alcampo, Leroy Merlin, Tenpin bowling, Primark, Inditex with Zara and their other trademarks H&M, C&A, Deichmann, Guess, Geox, Swarovski, Punto Roma, Muerde la Pasta, Kiko, Druni and Marvimundo. There is a Casino there and childrens play areas.

This property is a 2 bedroom south facing upstairs apartment with a large roof top solarium. The lounge has English TV on a new 32 inch flat screen TV, IPod docking station, DVD player with films and a music centre with CD's. There is a Play Station 2 with games also available. There is a fold up bed available for the 5th person. A cot and high chair are available. The large roof top solarium is for the apartment only and has 4 sunloungers. There is a BBQ available. Air-con/heating is available as an optional extra. Wi Fi is available as an optional extra.

Had a great time, apartment was spotless and well appointed. wi fi was great to have (sad I know!) and PS2 much enjoyed when it got too hot! Lots to do in Torrevieja dn surrounding places, did not get to see everything. Hope to come back soon

GREAT HOLIDAY RENTAL

I have stayed in many holiday rentals before but never one so fully equipped. I just wanted to get away from the British winter and have a rest and I have found a place I will return to. The agent I booked through couldn't have been more helpful but even I wondered when she told me how many things were available in the apartment. It was in an ideal position close to shops,bars, great walks just a minute away and plenty of neighbours to chat with. When the weather wasn't wonderful the apartment had English TV, Wi-Fi, CD player and collection of CD's, also DVD player and collection of DVD's in English. A great winter escape
