Chalet, 3 Bedrooms + Loft, 3.5 Baths (Sleeps 10)

This lovely home on three levels sits on a half acre--good for taking to the slopes, or playing with the children on-site. The main floor holds the master bedroom, with large spa tub and private loft. The atrium with Mexican pavers and large windows is between the master bedroom and the great room. Leather couches, fireplace, game table, dining room table enhance this magnificent room. A fully-equipped and supplied kitchen and adjoining laundry room complete this level.

The loft runs the full length of the living room with a ping-pong table, trundle bed and full bathroom. The bottom floor has two bedrooms with queen beds and a bathroom. The mud room and garage is to the front, sliding doors to the back hill.

Tahoe Donner is a planned community with a recreation center that has two spas, saunas, workout room, three pools, one with a heated deck for winter use, downhill and cross country ski centers, equestrian center, restaurant, full recreation center, private beach at the east end of Donner Lake and more.

Tahoe Donner is a subdivision of Truckee and is 13 miles from North Lake Tahoe and 35 miles from Reno which offers night life and gaming, as well as an International Airport.

My wife and I are from Milano, Italy and visited with our friends from the Bay Area. For more than a week we stayed in this lovely home in the midst of the most beautiful area we have seen since we left the Alps. The town of Truckee, the Donner Lake beach and boating, the Lodge for dinner and the trails for hiking, made this part of our vacation a special one. The home is so comfortable and lovely. We will come back in the coming years to stay.

This was the first vacation in years that exceeded my hopes and expectations. The comfort of the home and the location was perfect to enjoy all of the many amenities of the community. Thank you for providing so many things in the house that we didn't expect to be provided. We had such a relaxing time. We look forward to staying again next year.
