Rather than brag on our own unit, here is a review from a popular website...

'We stayed here because of the recommendation of some friends. What a great find!! The complex is only about 2 minutes from I-5. It is off the last exit heading north before Camp Pendleton. That means it is 45 minutes from Sea World, 1 hour on the dot to Disneyland and 5 minutes to Lego Land. The complex has two pools, two big hot tubs, a putting green, ping pong and billiards tables, and a workout room. There is gated underground parking reserved for each unit. The whole complex is gated and patrolled 24/7. It is ON THE BEACH -- not blocks away like other places.

This unit is advertised as sleeping 6, but it really sleeps 8. It is on the 3rd floor (accessed by elevator) and inside the unit the master bedroom is upstairs. It has a great balcony looking out right onto the OCEAN. You can sleep with the sliding door open and feel the ocean breeze and hear the crashing of the waves.

The sand and surf are awesome. We have two teenage boys 16 and 14 and they loved boogie boarding and surfing, and our two younger ones (10 and 8) loved playing on the sand and in the water.

You can easily walk both to the Oceanside Pier (and the lovely Ruby's Diner) or to the Marina (with all sorts of yachts coming and going plus a dozen restaurants). The Coaster (commuter train) is less than a mile away which can take you right to downtown San Diego. My oldest son and I took it to watch the Padres and the Dodgers play baseball. A314, the unit we stayed in has been recently remodeled. It has flat screen TVs, wireless internet, new beds and bedding, new bathroom fixtures, is super clean, and very cozy. We usually stay in upscale hotels, but we saved so much money by picking up breakfast food and snacks and stocking the kitchen in the unit. They have everything we needed to cook as many meals as we wanted.

We stayed a week and did the beach one day, then Seaworld one day, then the beach, then Lego Land, then the beach, then Disneyland, then the San Diego Zoo. Wow -- what an awesome trip. The memories will last a lifetime!! For the money, Oceanside is the best beach in San Diego. We stay away from the beaches in San Diego proper -- they have a rough crowd. The beach in LaJolla is tiny and too snooty -- Oceanside is just right -- great waves, nice sand, and very family friendly.'

Wonderful. Condo. We were so pleased with our stay. Right by the beach, the beach was great. There are bathrooms right by the condo on the beach. The condo complex has a pool, heated when we were there in May, Plus a bigger pool about a block away. My kids loved the ping pong table in the basement of the condo complex. Laundry room facility always had empty washers and dryers, we never had to wait for one. We felt very safe, the underground parking was wonderful. Easy walking distance to both the pier and the harbor.
The condo had plenty of towels along with board games and beach toys. The boogie boards were a hit with my kids. Beautiful view from the upstairs deck out to the ocean. Loved that there were 3 tvs so at night kids could watch what they wanted. We can't wait to stay there again!

Best family vacation EVER

We were a bit hesitant renting a place so far from where we lived (4400 kms) but we so blown away by how perfect a place this was for our family of 5. We rented the condo for a month and had a perfect experience the whole time. Our kids ( ages 4, 6, 7) enjoyed the pool and easy beach access. We found it was so easy to navigate the town of Oceanside and if you wanted to venture farther north or south the highway is right there. The condo was just as described with lots of extras to make it feel very homey. There were plenty of towels and dishes and we did not miss anything. The owners of this complex were very good at answering all our questions which I was very glad for, since we were renting it sight unseen. It was a great experience and one we will definitely be doing again. We can not wait to go back.

Great beach vacation

My 2 sisters and I were looking for a peaceful and relaxing vacation rental at the beach. We had some apprehension with the online condo rental process, because all our previous vacation rentals were at hotels. The condo was clean, tastefully decorated and well furnished with many amenities. The large comfortable beds, and spacious living areas provided ample space for three women to sleep and relax comfortably. We especially enjoyed the abundant supply of large fluffy towels and the luxurious sheets. Also, the top of the line cookware in the kitchen made meal preparation a breeze. We enjoyed coffee in the morning and dinner in the evening on the patio off the master bedroom. The condo is close to the beach and has a great ocean view.

The owner answered all our inquiries quickly and made the rental experience smooth and easy.
