Best Birthday/Almost Christmas Get Away!!
Thanks Glenda 4 being amazing accommodating & very easy to work with. Thank U for quick responses & making renting the Roost a breeze. Well worth it we loved it & CANT WAIT TO COME BACK!
The Buzzards Roost is amazing in & out. It has privacy but also very attentive hosts! We were greeted by Kelsha & Bill even though it was late snowin & freezin but there they were with great big smiles waiting to greet us upon our late arrival!
The Roost is beautiful! Well stocked kitchen, BBQ outside. Ample blankets towels pillows (The towels & bedding are better then any 5 star hotel any day any time & they dont smell like nasty bleach #justsayin). The bed is memory foam & the pillows are so comfy. Everything is comfortable handy clean & nicely decorated. We got lucky & got the X-Mas treatment with a fresh cut decorated X-Mas Tree in the living room. It was beautiful!
We arrived on the 21st for a My 25 Bday/PreChristmas get away. On SAT/22 (my Bday) upon waking up I found a text from Kelsha inviting my BF/Conan & I to breakfast which was great! We were joined by the guest of Grandpas Cabin (their other rental) & some missionary's & Bill & Kelshas children & their awesome pets. What a wonderful way to spend my birthday morning. My BF was convinced to play guitar, that was delightful! BF & I needed coffee so we left for a bit & upon our return Kelsha & her Daughter greeted me at our door cupcakes in hand to wish me a Happy Birthday. I was so touched. Thank you for making my b-day perfect!
The rest of our stay was great, got a chance to shovel snow, (Thank u for the loaner snow boots) There were snow ball fights snow bird/thing man & We just had a nice relaxing time together away from the city life. It was perfect! I HIGHLY recommend the BR & cant wait to return, but next time can we borrow a cat, we missed ours alot!! :D
If I could suggest anything, it would be coat hooks on doors, walls hooks above the heater in the BD, LR, in the winter its hard to dry wet clothes, so being able to hang things above the heater, or on doors would be nice! No other complaints at all! Maybe scissors too!
Thank you Glenda & Paul for the rental. Thank you Kelsha & Bill, kids, & pets for going above & beyond and making our vacation b-day something to always remember, everything was perfect, lots of snow and all! Kelsha and Bill are very helpful and nice!
FYI Bring your own ground coffee, there is a maker, no grinder! No oven either just convection oven, but thats ok it works great!
