The farmhouse Rondini Blu is located in the heart of the Chianti region, in the open countryside, 0,5 km far from the small village of Poppiano (where you may visit the ancient Poppiano Castle that dates back to the X century), and it is surrounded by fields of olive trees and vineyards. Rondini Blu is also producing its own wine and olive-oil. It is a perfect example of a Tuscan country villa, immersed in the tranquility of the Tuscan countryside, mid-way between Florence and Siena.

We offer to tourists our apartment Margherite of 100 squared metres. Margherite apartment is made of 2 double bedrooms (one may be changed into a twin- or triple bedrom with 2/3 single beds), 2 bathrooms (one with a Jacuzzi bath-tub), a large living room with a double sofa bed, a dining room, a kitchen fully equipped with fridge, oven, freezer, dish-washer, kettle, Italian coffee-maker. TV-Sat. Private heating. Free use of swimming pool, sun-beds, umbrellas. Private outdoor space equipped with BBQ, table and chairs to relax or eat open air. Wi-Fi Internet included !

Services and Kindness Reserved For You!: At your arrival, we will be glad to suggest you the best itineraries to discover the most beautiful little towns or villages in the Chianti area. On request, we may book for you the tickets to visit the Uffizi or Academia museums in Florence, in order to avoid you to queue outside the museums many hours. Guests are free to wander the estate, where there are over 20 acres of private land, ideal for enjoyable walks in the country. Immersed in all this peace and tranquility, well kept gardens with lawns, mature oaks, flowering magnolias and pomegranate bushes surround the villa and the swimming pool (15m x 7,5m). The swimming pool, perfectly equipped, overlooks the olive groves and it is placed in an ideal spot for relaxing and enjoying a cooling dip. On request, we may cook for you typical Tuscan dinners.

The Villa was perfectly restored on January 2008 and divided into 3 independent large apartments.

You will then enjoy a wonderful relaxing holiday surrounded by the Chianti's sweet hills!

This is a great place for a holiday in Tuscany.
We stayed in the Rondini Blue in the Margherite Appartment as family with 3 kids.
It was a great time, the appartment is very nice with all you need, big rooms, well equipped, ...
The owners were helping everything we needed, including wonderful recommendations for sightseeing places. You can go easily in 30 to 60 minutes drive to Florence, Siena, Pisa, ...
Don't miss Florence at night, it is wonderful (restaurants, icecream, street musicians, night iluminations, ...).
Ask Stefano (the owner) and he will give his very best to make your time a great time there.

Recommended for: Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway

My husband and I stayed at Rondini Blu for a week in May and had a wonderful holiday. The villa was beautiful and clean at the gardens were well kept.

The owner Stefano was very helpful with providing guidance as to where to go sight seeing as well as providing leaflets and maps etc.

We would definitely choose to go back and stay here.

Recommended for: Tourists without a Car, Sightseeing, Romantic Getaway

My wife and I stayed at Rondini Blu in the summer of 2010 with two small children. The property is very beautiful, with a wonderful oversized pool and large garden. It is situated higher up, so one can enjoy the view of the surrounding Tuscan countryside. The owners are very helpful in planning trips to Florence or other destination and in finding nearby shops and restaurants. The apartment we had was generously sized and very clean. It was well-equipped with a full kitchen. The supermarket in nearby Montespertoli has the best bread according to our taste as well as everything else one could reasonably need for home-cooked meals.

Recommended for: Age 55+, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway

"Nous avons passé un très agréable séjour chez Stefano. L’appartement est parfait, la situation est également idéale pour visiter la toscane. L’appartement est situé dans cadre magnifique au cœur des oliviers avec une belle vue sur les collines avoisinantes. La piscine est très appréciable après une journée de visite.
