Photos and Description of the Big Bear Lake vacation house rental
This 1940’s 3-bedroom, 2-bath cabin has been transformed into an ideal mountain
Renovated from top to bottom, this 1940’s 4-bedroom, 2-bath cabin has been transformed into an ideal mountain retreat that sleeps a family of 8 or provides 4 couples their own private bedroom. And what a location to enjoy the best of Big Bear at the lowest rates of the year! In fact, we doubt you will find such a well-appointed, 4-bedroom, 2-bath cabin in all of Big Bear! It’s only minutes to the lake and quaint Village, but far enough away to be the middle of a forest. Nine Pines Lodge was named for the large pine trees that tower above the log-sided structure. They shade the large two-level deck that’s perfect for outdoor barbecues. In transforming the original cabin, care was taken to retain its rustic charm, but many new features were added: a floor-to-ceiling stone fireplace; a log staircase, half-log trim around windows and doors, stone-like ceramic tile floors in the kitchen and baths, as well as antique tin ceilings. New dormers and window seats in the upstairs bedrooms offer views of the pine-covered slope below. The large, fully-equipped kitchen has a table that seats 8, but numerous dining choices in the village and around the lake are less than 10 minutes away. There’s a large-screen TV and DVD player tucked under the staircase that provides cable access to 100s of channels plus HBO and Showtime. There’s also a TV and DVD player in the upstairs bedroom. Also, guests have unlimited coast-to-coast calling from the cabin. It all adds to the perfect mountain get-away. Good pets are welcome too. Turnday: Any. Amenities: Pets Allowed, Pets Allowed, Fireplace, Washer/Dryer, TV, Internet, Internet, DVD, Microwave & Coffee Pot, Full Kitchen, Charcoal BBQ, Dishwasher.
