Borgo Tranquillo is set in 15 acres in a spectacular hilltop setting amid the rolling Le Marche countryside. We offer four luxury self catering 88 m2 apartments with private terraces and one 150 m2 villa set in its own contemporary landscaped garden. The Estate has been beautifully restored in the traditional manner with interiors treated in a more contemporary loft-style. Borgo Tranquillo also boasts a communal Spa/Chill out area, designed to give a club ambiance, deep leather seating, open fires, bar and library with spectacular panoramic views. From the club area a sweeping staircase leads you down to the hammam and sauna with the large black infinity pool beyond. Landscaped gardens with loungers around the pool offer peace and tranquillity. With a maximum of twelve guests everyone can be assured of a peaceful and relaxing stay.

East facing 88 sqm 1 bedroom high ceiling apartment at ground floor level with private terrace. This apartment is Approached via landscaped lavender gardens. One enters from the private terrace with outdoor dining/lounging facilities into a large open plan living/kitchen area. The living room features wood burning stove, large sofas, dining area seating for four people and fully integrated marble kitchen. A small corridor leads from the living area into the bedroom with en suite bathroom. The bathroom is fitted with WC, bidet, wet-room shower area and large double ended bath. Bedroom with fully fitted wardrobes and king size bed. Villa and Apartments are fitted out with, high quality mattresses and luxurious 800 thread Egyptian cotton bed linen. Bathrooms are fitted out with luxury towels, bath mats, dressing gowns, hair dryers, extra large pool towels and REN bath products.

BorgoTranquillo is only 40 minutes from Ancona Airport, just five minutes outside the beautiful hill town of Arcevia. Situated in the foothills of the Apennines the town boast clean healthy air and a mild climate. From the town and the neighbouring hills you can admire the splendid panoramic view of the Apennines and the Adriatic coast. Frassassi caves, Colla Rossa national park, Urbino, Macerata, Jesi and the beaches of Senigallia and Monte Conero are all an easy drive away. Art, history, architecture are in abundance. The food and wine of the region memorable. Le Marche also boasts a huge number of factory outlet stores to satisfy any discerning shopper.

Notes: Kitchen. Our kitchen are fully fitted out, everything you need to create a delicious meal. Salt, pepper, tea, coffe, sugar, honey and olive oil from Arcevia, and much much more. Spa/Club House: Deep leather seating, free bar (alcohol, soft drinks), Nespresso coffee, library, open fire. Spectacular views. Sauna, hamman (turkish steam room), indoor relaxation area with the 9.5 x 15m black invinity pool beyond. Around the pool area are over 20 timber deckchairs, sun umbrellas, extra large beanbags (6 ft x 3 ft), everthing to enjoy the sun Organic vegetables from our own garden. We planted an orchard in early 2008 and hope that next year our guests will enjoy the first home grown fruits.

Our two weeks at Borgo Tranquillo were wonderfully relaxing, deep in the Le Marche countryside! Hiking, running, biking, swimming, sightseeing, sunning, reading, shopping, or just plain hanging out in the beautiful hills, wonderfully enhanced by the architecture, interior design and landscaping done by Ariane and Frank, who have wonderful taste. Bring your Italian dictionary, you're not in Tuscany, where everyone speaks English. For those in need of a get away from crowds and traffic. A car is definitely needed, however. Our cat thouroughly enjoyed his vacation as well, sunning and chasing lizards!

Borgo Tranquillo ist die perfekte Unterkunft, traumhafte Lage, ein grosszuegiges, geschmackvoll eingerichtetes Appartment, ein wunderschoener Pool, ein kleiner aber feiner Spa-Bereich, eine gemuetliche Lounge. Ariane und Andrew kennen die Beduerfnisse erholungsbeduerftiger Gaeste bestens. Es hat einfach an nichts gefehlt. Vom Bademantel ueber erntefrisches Gemuese aus Arianes und Andrews Garten bis zur Lounge mit kleiner Bibliothek und Bar, an der man sich an erfrischenden Drinks oder einem Espresso erfreuen konnte - fuer alles war gesorgt. Wir waeren gerne laenger geblieben, hatten aber zu spaet gebucht und durften am Ende froh sein, wenigstens eine Woche geniess?en zu koennen. Die Umgebung und das naechstgelegene, beschauliche Arcevia sind einfach zauberhaft. Dem rustikalen, bodenstaendigen Charme der Marken kann man sich nicht entziehen. Wir kommen in jedem Fall wieder!

Top Unterkunft bei super netten Leuten!

Borgo Tranquillo ist in echt fast noch besser wie auf den Bildern und in der Beschreibung. Die Appartements sind sehr modern aber gleichzeitig gemütlich. Die Austattung ist super. Spitze war auch der Pool mit Spabereich. An alles wurde gedacht (Flachbildschirm, Stereoanlage mit Ipod-Anschluß, Lichtdimmer in allen Zimmern, etc. etc. ). Selbst der Begrüßungs Prosecco war im Kühlschrank kalt gestellt. Einfach nur klasse! Alles war super sauber und sehr gepflegt. Ariane und Frank waren sehr zuvorkommend und äusserst großzügig. Freie Getränke im Poolhaus!!! Zusammenfassend kann man diese Unterkunft mehr als empfehlen. Wir werden sicher wieder hinfahren. Unsere Kinder vermissen Frank mit seinem Traktor.

What a wonderful stay we had over the new year period. Coming home each evening after exloring the beautiful region of marche was a delight. We didn't want to leave our villa on the hill, it became our home. The accomodation is supurb, the facilites fantastic, the hosts friendly and helpful. The perfect tranquill holiday getway.
