The house is in Giurdignano, a very small village of 1000 inhabitants situated in the beautiful country side surrounded by olive trees just 6 km away from the beautiful sea of Otranto. It is famous for the presence of megalithic monuments dolmen or menhir, of the archaeological site called 'Le Centoporte', of several crypts, of which the most famous the church-cripta of San Salvatore, of two hipogean tombs of the Neolithic period (II millennium B.C.). The house is situated in the centre of town, next to the lovely piazza with a church and other historic palaces and walking distance from coffee bars, restaurants, bakery and supermarkets. It is just 5 minutes away by car from the port and beaches of OTRANTO (famous for the mosaic of its Cathedral) and 15 minutes from the natural Park of the Alimini where you can do some bird watching. Very close is also the Baia dei Turchi beach with white sand and sculpture huge rocks that have shapes of sculptures.
