I had a wonderful time at the cottage, and I will definitely be back. Since there were so many wonderful things to say about the experience, I thought I'd narrow the list down to my top 5 compliments! My top 5 compliments about this cottage are as follows - 1) It is budget friendly, but it doesn't feel like you are on a budget. It just feels like you are staying in a friend's home. 2) The setting is beautiful. Just look at the pictures of the view. My favorite part of the view was watching the sunset over the water. 3) It was close to other fun things to do - shopping, going out to eat, etc. Try the alligator bites at DeSotos! 4) Martha, the property manager, was incredibly kind, communicated throughout the entire process - patiently answering all of my questions and was very thoughtful. I trust her completely. 5) Finally, I loved watching all of the wildlife. We saw beautiful butterflies, squirrels running after acorns, dolphins further out in the bay, pelicans diving into the water for food, fish and crabs that we caught off the dock, and my favorite was the daily visits we received from a gorgeous great blue heron that the locals called "Blue." I'm so grateful for the opportunity to stay at a lovely place I could afford and to be met with such beauty and wonderful hospitality. I will be back. Thank you so much.
