The home is located as described. The ocean is a stones throw away and the sand comes right up to the patio. The patio is a fabulous place to read and have a cocktail. There is a coral formation right at the waterline so it is not the best place for children to enter the water, but the beach is great for them. You feel like you have the entire beach and pool to yourself most of the time as most of the neighbors work during the day.

Our family came to snorkel and we wanted to be away from the very busy 7 mile beach area. This home fit our needs. You definitely need a car. There is a small grocery close, but it carries limited items. We shopped in Georgetown and brought the food out with us. We fixed about half our meals in. There are quite a few options to eat out within a 15 minute drive.
There are a variety of activities available at the resorts either to the east or west of the house about 15 minutes away. The botanical garden and Mastic Trial are minutes away. We found fabulous snorkeling places around the island.
The property was clean on the inside. The outside-we were missing screens and had windows that would not stay up so we had to run the air conditioning most of the time. I would have like to have the windows open and listened to the ocean. The dishwasher had problems and they indicated that they were replacing it.
The home had both cable and good internet available. There was a good washer and dryer which comes in very handy as you will use a lot of beach towels.
I would recommend this property to a friend/relative if they wanted a quiet relaxing place to vacation and have great beaches available a short drive away. If you are looking for shopping and nightlife, I would stick to 7 mile beach area.
