3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms, sleeps 6 and a babycot for a young guest

Villa Rumah Buka is located directly at the volcanic sandy beach on the North coast of Bali,just 5 km west of Lovina Beach.

The villa is suitable for 6 guests and a babybed is available for a 7th (small) guest. The spacious masterbedroom has a comfortable kingsize bed,walk-in wardrobe, bathroom with toilet, washing basins and open-air shower. The middle bedroom has two beds,washing basin and walk-in shower and the 3th bedroom has a kingsize bed and the same bathroom as the masterbedroom.

The villa has a fully equipped kitchen with a large fridge and freezer, a pantry,a large livingroom with satellite TV and DVD system.

The day to day living takes place on the covered terrace with diningtable and comfort chairs,a lounge area and 2 relaxing chairs.

Besides renting a car with or without driver,public transport is available within walking distance from the villa. Seririt with its colourful local market,Lovina Beach ,Singaraja and various other villages can easily be reached.

Outside area of the villa: The day to day living is taking place on the spacious covered terrace (80 sqm) with dining table and chairs for 6 persons ,a lounge area and two relaxing chairs.

In the lush tropical garden are various places to relax and sunbath, a large private swimmingpool (12x6m) with sundeck and poolbeds next to a typical Balinese restingplace called the Bale Benong. From here you have a very nice view over the Balisea,to the north and on a clear day to the Volcanoes on Java to the west and of course sunrises and beautiful sunsets.

You rent this villa just for yourself and your company. Full privacy is guaranteed!

The service: A permanent staff of three is taking care of our guests 6 days aweek,8 hours a day. Binter is our gardener. He cleans the pool and maintains the garden. Wayan and Komang are taking care of you during your stay. They clean the villa and can prepare the meals at your liking.

Bedlinen and towels are changed regularly. Pooltowels are available as well as toiletteries. You only have to do some shopping in nearby supermarkets. Home delivery of groceries and fresh bread is possible every day.

About Maddy and Ton de Bruin

When we spend our holidays in Bali in 2005 ,we came in contact with a real estate developer from Holland.

Within a couple of weeks we decided to buy a plot at the northcoast of Bali and 8 month later we were the proud owners of Rumah Buka. No regret untill today!

Due to the experience of staying at the northcoast of Bali during our holidays in 2006, we found out that the location of our plot was an excellent one.

The north of Bali is still authentic,far away from the crowded south. Our plot is located just 5 km west of Lovina Beach, a small scale holiday village directly at the Bali Sea.

It can be reached by 'bemo' public transport and there is still tranquillity and quietness in this area. A splendid place to relax and enjoy the Balinese culture and beautifull nature.

What makes this villa unique

Every day you can enjoy the the murmur of the sea, the song of the birds, the view over the Bali Sea, enjoying the sun or rest in the Bale Benong,sitting in the shade, with a cool seabreeze reading a book or whatever you like to day, while the staff is taking care of you.

The small village of Dencarik lies halfway between Lovina Beach and Seririt on the northside of the mountainrange dividing the quiet but still authentic northpart of Bali and the touristic South of this 'island of the Gods'

You will find numerous Hindu temple complexes next to the only Buddhist temple on Bali in the vicinity of the villa, large waterfalls spread along the norht coast, superb diving and snorkeling spots near Menjangan Island and Amed, beautiful sceneries and views over the ricepaddies and you can see the dolphins passing by in the early morning hours close to the coast in nearby Lovina Beach.Hot springs are only a few kilometers away from the villa.

5 km east from the villa is Lovina Beach with many shops,boutiques,restaurants,terraces,ATM's and small scale hotels and guesthouses,while Seririt with its colourful market is 7 km more to the west.

The former capital Singaraja is about 20 minutes by car east of the villa.

Other Activities: Treetop adventures for children. One hour away from the villa is Bedugul with the Bali Botanical Garden.

Inside the Garden is the Bali Treetop Adventure Park located.

Children can climb from one treetop to the other.

A save environment is secured!

Golf: BALI HANDARA KOSAIDO GOLF AND COUNTRY CLUB is just 35 km away from Rumah Buka and is located in the hills around Lake Bratan.

The golf and country club has a beautiful course and the average daily temperature is around 26 C.

Carts and caddy's are included in the greenfees and rental clubs are available.

  • rentals over three weeks are eligible for discounts
  • The rental rate includes all local taxes,tourist registration fee, services by our permanent staff six days a week,eight hours per day, gas ,electricity (normal use), drinking water, toiletteries, use of linen and towels and the first diner and breakfast after your arrival.

    Our rental rates are very competitive compared to similar rental objects in our area. The service is comparable however.
  • After confirming your reservation we expect a 25 % downpayment of the rent within 10 days of receipt of the rental agreement.
    The remainder of the rent and a security bond of € 200 have to be paid at least 4 weeks before arrival in the villa on Bali.

    The deposit will be paid back within 10 days after your departure from the villa if no damages and/or excessive use of electricity is reported by our staff.

    We recommend a cancellation insurance for your journey.

Notes: The staff of three is taking care of our guests 8 hours a day , 6 days a week. Their usual day off is on sundays. Cleaning the pool and gardening , cleaning the villa and cooking the meals will be done by our dedicated staff. Security guards are around the premises from 6 pm until 6 am seven days a week. They work in 6 hour shifts. Our helpdesk employee, Anik will provide any assistance when required. She can arrange medical doctors, a dentist or a visit to a nearby hospital. If you have questions about transport or planning a trip or you need help to require internet access you can call her at 'office hours' A driver is always available upon request.

Rumah Buka is even more beautiful and comfortable than it appears in the photos. It is a very comfortable, quiet and private place to relax. The staff are excellent and we were very well looked after. The villa is about 3 hours drive North of Denpesar, away from the the chaotic, busy tourist areas of South Bali. Airport transfers by private car were organised for us by the owners (US$50) and they provided extensive, detailed, useful information to make our stay trouble free. The accomodation is first class. We hope to return to Rumah Buka next year. Highly recommended. *****
