Spacious Modern Accommodation and a Large Garden, with Sandy Bays in Front.

Villa Bella Vista is situated in a spacious garden directly by the sea, with two small sandy bays immediately in front and another lovely sheltered sandy bay about 3 minutes walk away, which is ideal for children. There are also other magnificent coral white sand beaches that begin about 5 minutes walk away. They stretch for several kilometres through the Dunes Nature Reserve. There are outstanding opportunities for swimming, snorkeling, windsurfing, fishing and dune walking, right by Villa Bella Vista.

The villa was totally renovated and extended. It now provides spacious modern and luxurious accommodation in a romantic setting, where the only sounds are of the waves on the shore and the sea birds. The conservatory and adjoining ground floor terrace are excellent venues for relaxed dining, whilst the two roof terraces have even more spectacular panoramic sea views. Restaurants, shops and the varied attractions of Corralejo are within walking distance.

Interior: The Living Room (50 sq.m.) has marble flooring and large windows along the whole of one side that look out to sea. The Dining Area is incorporated into the Living Room and has a natural stone wall as a background. Close by is the 'Open-Plan' kitchen and leading off from that is the East facing Breakfast Room, with French windows onto the terrace. There is another separate, West facing, Lounge with French windows onto a terrace. It is a quiet retreat, great for reading or having a sundowner.

A step down from the Living Room is the Conservatory, with glass sliding windows across the whole length.

It provides a delightful room with panoramic sea views and is ideal for relaxed dining and to watch the changing light on the sea in front. It is also a good room for children to play in.

Outside: There are two separate roof sun terraces that are reached by short stairways at the side of the house. The front terrace provides incredible views out to sea and to the islands of Lobos and Lanzarote. There are also views to Corralejo harbour, where the ferries from Lanzarote arrive, and lovely inland views across the Dune Nature Reserve to the distant mountains. The second roof terrace, to the rear of the house, is sheltered and is ideal for private sun bathing. There are also terraces at ground level around the house that provide a variety of locations for quiet relaxation and dining. Chairs tables and sun loungers are provided for outside use.

Because of the immediate proximity of good swimming beaches, a pool is not provided. The property is therefore very safe for young children.

The beaches of Fuerteventura are truly outstanding and certainly the best in the Canary Islands. The sand is a pinkish white, due to the coral component, and the sea is clean and crystal clear, so swimming, snorkeling and diving are great. The beaches near Corralejo are safe for swimming in normal conditions and the principal ones have lifeguards during the season. Excellent windsurfing is available, off the more exposed beaches and a windsurfing school is nearby. A magnificent kilometres long beach begins a few minutes walk from the villa and the sheltered sandy bay, almost adjacent, is a wonderful place for young children. Corralejo harbour has frequent ferries to Lanzarote that connect to excursions to the fascinating volcanoes and lava fields. Deep sea fishing and other sea excursions can be booked there. A certified diving school is also there. So too are many restaurants. The mountainous centre of the island provides for many scenic excursions by car.

Golf: There is a good golf course that hosted the Spanish Open in 2004. It is located at Caleta del Fuste, just beyond the airport. It is associated with the 5* Elbe Palace Golf Hotel and can be reached in 35 minutes by car from the villa.

Notes:
There is a step at the entrance to the house and one down onto the sea facing terrace. Other than those, the living and bedrooms are all on one level, providing easy access for children and the elderly. All of the bedrooms and living areas are large and designed to provide cross ventilation by the sea breezes, so air-conditioning is not required. Fans are provided for the occasional humid days and convection heaters for the cooler winter evenings. All windows and doors are fitted with mosquito nets.. Note that because of the several adjoining beaches for swimming, a pool is not provided here.
