About Nicole

We are not a rental company. We are a single family wanting to share our year round second home with other families who expect a well kept beautiful location. We are NOT looking to rent our home every day of the summer. The dates we don't rent give us a chance to enjoy our home.

Beautiful Home

  • 4 of 5

This property was gorgeous. It had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable and relaxing. We stayed in the winter so we weren't able to enjoy the lake and outdoor toys, but it would be a great destination during the summer. The fireplace put off a tremendous amount of heat and kept us very cozy and warm. Our only complaint is the location. It is pretty far from everything. We had to travel quite a bit to do anything (dinner, grocery store, etc). The ski resorts were a good 45 minute drive. If you're looking for seclusion, this is the house for you.

Beautiful lake front home!

  • 4 of 5

Our family had a great time! The home was as beautiful as shown in the pictures, with plenty of room for our group of 9. The owner was easy to deal with and answered all of our questions prior to arrival. The home was very clean and the provided towels and linens were 5-star hotel quality. Trips to Cheboygan and Mackinaw for activities and good meals are easy. The large outside "sandbox" and waterfront were great, a favorite for the kids. The layout, second story deck, rustic décor, satellite TV, a/c, and sunset views all added to the trip. I would recommend this rental without hesitation.

Wow, the pictures for this gorgeous home don't do it justice. It's even better in person. We decided to surprise my niece for her 9th birthday by flying up to MI and doing something different. I'd never used VRBO before, but after seeing some properties, decided to try it. I found this beauty and got commitment from family to go. The owner provided fast responses and was available throughout our trip. Moreover, everything w/ the VRBO side was easy. We had quite a mix of people: two 9yr olds, one teen, three in their 20s, six in their 40s/50s and two 80 yr olds. Upon arrival, the kids thought it was a castle! As soon as we walked in, everyone ran from room-to-room gasping and taking pictures. We couldn't believe how big it was and how beautifully everything was decorated. Note: one of the 9yr olds took a few hours to get used to the stuffed animals in great room. She was fine after that. The house is just immaculate. Every room was decorated with great thought, detail and quality. The land is also superb; flat, luscious lawn/trees, serene lakefront. My favorite room was the great room; i love all the wildlife, the view, etc. The kitchen is gourmet quality. The back deck you could sit on for hours and take in the views. The back yard is huge; enough for large family games. The bunkhouse w/ its bunkbeds was a hit w/ all the kids. Sadly we were only there for a weekend (Fri-Sun) so we didn't get to experience everything the house/area had to offer. As we were leaving, everyone asked, "can we stay longer?" followed by, "can we get it for a week in the summer?" As for the logistics, it was vy easy to find. Cheboygan is vy close (Walmart, banks, gas, etc). The area (scenery, roads, activities) is just wonderful. The renting experience (owner/vrbo) was a piece of cake. We hope to rent this house many more times in the future. It's perfect for large family gatherings and making memories.

Northern Beauty

  • 5 of 5

What a beautiful vacation home ! We were amazed at totally everything. The beds were so comfy, the kitchen so well equipped, the wonderful deck we so enjoyed. I think most of all, the two trampolines-one on the beach and one in the lake kept our 7 grandchildren thoroughly entertained. Our 8 year old grandaughter actually cried when we left and our 3 year old grandson wants to go back to the castle. We found restaurants and shopping with no problem. It was the first time I stayed up north and did not want to go home. We totally had all the comforts of home and then some. We would recommend this home wholeheartedly and hope to return again.

This is it!

  • 5 of 5

This is the place we want to stay at when we vacation in Michigan again. This was our 6th family reunion and this is by far the nicest house we've stayed in. Nicole made the whole process easy from start to finish. The house is beautiful with room to spare for our group of 15+. You can see the lake from just about every room in the house. The house is beautifully decorated and the rooms are spacious with very comfortable beds and plenty of bathrooms. The kitchen is a dream. It has modern appliances and makes meal prep easy for a big group. Between the dining room, bar area and deck, there was plenty of seating for everyone. The cupboards and drawers are labeled so it is easy to find everything. There is an amazing sound system throughout the house and the light switches are labeled in every room. The screened in porch is a nice quiet place to go when you need alone time. Between the lake, large yard, sand beach and fire pit, there is plenty to do outside. We had 2 frisbees and a football being tossed at the same time with room to spare. The basement with the foosball table and video games was the favorite hang out for the teens. We had relatives visit and now they want to rent this house the next time they are in the area. There is nothing bad to say about this house. The pictures online are great, but the place is so much more amazing in person.

Vacation June

  • 5 of 5

Much nicer then we thought it would be, great place, done in a very wonderful northern theme, and a outstanding place to enjoy with family and friends wish we owned it.

Everything was labeled and in place, great kitchen and cooking and perparing area, lots of room for the entire family to meet, eat and enjoy.

We would recommend this to anyone of our family or friends.

Really enjoyed our week here and the wonderful water front beach area and great lake for swimming, fishing, etc.

Hope to return next year again. So may be we should write a bad review so no one rents, just kidding, I would recommend this to anyone that is lookig for a great place to spend a weeks vacation with family.
