Before contacting us please review the rate information. Many questions can be answered there. Summer season is a MINIMUM 6 night stay, NO EXCEPTIONS.

This beautiful, rustic furnished home, is on 125 ft of lakefront property. Lake views from all living areas and 5,000 sq ft of living space, with a walkout basement, will accommodate your group, large or small. Large, man made beach, can be used for laying out or playing volleyball on. Very nice public boat launch located 1/4 mile down the road. 100 ft. dock, at the house, for easy access to your boat. 14 ft Sunfish available upon request as well as a Sit-On-Top kayak. Lake activities continue in the winter with an average of 85' of snow per season. Snowmobile or snow shoe across the lake. Play some pick up hockey or ice skate 80 ft. from your door. The only thing holding you back is your imagination, and maybe the size of your car. DirecTV is available on 3 televisions, fooseball table and air hockey table in the basement along with lots of family board games. Wanna bring your game console? Hook it up!

Surrounding Areas: Mackinac Island is located just a short 35 min drive north. Take an 18 minute ferry ride to the place where cars aren't allowed and fudge lines the streets. Have a boat? Boat through the Cheboygan river and be at the island in 90 minutes, from our dock. The Cheboygan locks are fun for the kids. Don't forget to bring your squirt guns or water balloons for the river trip. Everyone has fun on the river. Cheboygan is located 15 mins north and has all your conveniences, ie Walmart, hospital, 5 screen movie theater, and many restaurants, sit down or fast. Located 12 mins south of the property is Indian River. This quaint tourist town,located between Burt and Mullet Lakes, is a wonderful place to stroll. Visit the small shops, local eateries, have an ice cream and play mini golf. Great town to relax and enjoy yourself.

Outdoors Lover?: Mackinaw State Forest is located 2 miles away. Enjoy the Forest for it's ORV, hiking and biking trails. Wildlife hunting available too. Mullet Lake is the second largest inland lake in Michigan. The property is located in a northern facing bay which is perfect for fishing. Ocqueoc Falls, located 30 mins away, is the only recognized waterfall in Michigan's lower peninsula. Historic Mill Creek Discovery Park is only 25 minutes north. Don't leave your GPS at home, there are some great Geocaching locations, for kids, nearby. See real lumberjacks at one of the Jack Pine Lumberjack Shows. Big Bear Adventures has mini golf, canoe, kayak, tube and raft rentals. Tahquamenon Falls State Park, Pictured Rocks and The Sault Ste. Marie, MI locks are great day trips. Brochures from many area attractions and restaurants provided.

What a beautiful vacation home ! We were amazed at totally everything. The beds were so comfy, the kitchen so well equipped, the wonderful deck we so enjoyed. I think most of all, the two trampolines-one on the beach and one in the lake kept our 7 grandchildren thoroughly entertained. Our 8 year old grandaughter actually cried when we left and our 3 year old grandson wants to go back to the castle. We found restaurants and shopping with no problem. It was the first time I stayed up north and did not want to go home. We totally had all the comforts of home and then some. We would recommend this home wholeheartedly and hope to return again.

This is it!

This is the place we want to stay at when we vacation in Michigan again. This was our 6th family reunion and this is by far the nicest house we've stayed in. Nicole made the whole process easy from start to finish. The house is beautiful with room to spare for our group of 15+. You can see the lake from just about every room in the house. The house is beautifully decorated and the rooms are spacious with very comfortable beds and plenty of bathrooms. The kitchen is a dream. It has modern appliances and makes meal prep easy for a big group. Between the dining room, bar area and deck, there was plenty of seating for everyone. The cupboards and drawers are labeled so it is easy to find everything. There is an amazing sound system throughout the house and the light switches are labeled in every room. The screened in porch is a nice quiet place to go when you need alone time. Between the lake, large yard, sand beach and fire pit, there is plenty to do outside. We had 2 frisbees and a football being tossed at the same time with room to spare. The basement with the foosball table and video games was the favorite hang out for the teens. We had relatives visit and now they want to rent this house the next time they are in the area. There is nothing bad to say about this house. The pictures online are great, but the place is so much more amazing in person.

Much nicer then we thought it would be, great place, done in a very wonderful northern theme, and a outstanding place to enjoy with family and friends wish we owned it.
Everything was labeled and in place, great kitchen and cooking and perparing area, lots of room for the entire family to meet, eat and enjoy.
We would recommend this to anyone of our family or friends.
Really enjoyed our week here and the wonderful water front beach area and great lake for swimming, fishing, etc.
Hope to return next year again. So may be we should write a bad review so no one rents, just kidding, I would recommend this to anyone that is lookig for a great place to spend a weeks vacation with family.

Excellent Choice!!!

Don't hesitate to book your vacation at this superb home.

My family met for a reunion and we couldn't have asked for a better place. It's located right on Mullett Lake and close to all of the treasures Northern Michigan offers.

The home (and I intentionally use the word 'home' instead of 'house'... because it is a home) was large enough for all of my siblings (there are six of us) and our families. If you love the water, you'll love being located right on Mullet Lake... Step outside and hit the lake, play volleyball, or just take a nice walk around the neighborhood. Then enjoy a bonfire to end the day right.

I can't recommend this home enough. It's a gem located in northern Michigan.

This was perfect for our family reunion! Plenty of nice beds and extra floor space for the kids (we had a little more than 15 there). Tons of space for everyone to spread out in the house to get some quiet time when they wanted. Making meals for our army was a snap with that huge, well equipped kitchen. We want that double oven and second sink in our next home! We put our boat into the lake at the public launch a quarter of a mile down the road and tied it to the property’s dock. Older family members had a great time taking pictures of us water skiing from the very large deck. The backyard to the lake is huge and we had room to spare even with volleyball, bat mitten, and bocce ball all going on at the same time. Plenty of parking along the pull through drive. Thanks for opening your house up to us. We can't wait to come back!!
