Complete solitude in the Cherokee National Forest with luxury accommodations in 2600 square feet as well as huge 12 foot decks , brand new hot tub and easy paved road access. Fully furnished with washer and dryer. Just bring your tooth brush. Two heat pumps for central air and heat. Two fire places on different levels. Beautiful house and property. Gorgeous mountaintop views. Spacious accommodations for our large group. We will return!

We used this as a central location for several activities in the region.
Visit the Webb Store for fishing, rafting and local history - Reliance
Hiwassee Outfitters Fishing/rafting
Delano Day lilies and the Amish farmers market - Delano
Adventure America Zipline Canopy Tours Ducktown
L&N railroad Depot and Hiwassee River Rail Adventure trains - Etowah

The house provide enough room and comfort to satisfy everyone's needs from age 3-70. The well stocked kitchen provided everything needed to prepare our breakfast and dinners. The hot tub for 2 was relaxing. The kids enjoyed the loft while the adults enjoyed the comfortable bedrooms and 4 baths. The covered decks were heavenly during the rainstorms!

Use GPS (N 35.232834, W 84.431249) to get to correct location.
Using the street address will get you lost in beautiful Monroe County!! (But it is a beautiful 10 miles of steep mountain curvy dirt road!!)

Cell phone service is very spotty in the mountains. Verizon worked on the deck. ATT would not. BEWARE. Land line phone calls to anywhere beyond the next room are probably $$$ long distance!!

Thank you to the Foxworth's for their hospitality and great Customer Service. I am already looking forward to our next visit!!
Owner's Response: Our house is the only one in the area with any cell phone service at all(because of its elevation).. Also the land line is provided for emergencies and provides local (free ) service to the locations mentioned in the review. You must use the street address with zip code as a duplicate street name exists in Monroe County..

Very private New Years Vacation

We had a great time at this cabin. We had 4 adults and 5 children and there was plenty of room for all of us. We were lucky enough to have a snow flurry come thru and the kids being from Florida really enjoyed that. Make sure you have your groceries as it is a fairly long haul down the mountain to get into town (at least the road is paved). We only ate out one time and had a great meal in Etowah at Mexi-wings. The mexican food was really good and so were the chicken wings. The only thing we did not realize is there is not a dining room in the cabin. There are TV Trays and there is a table out on the porch. There is a fairly large coffee table though and this worked out very well with 5 young kids. You have all of the cookware you need. There are 3 TV's and plenty of beds. This area is very beautiful and would probably be a great place to stay if tubing down the Hiawassee. We had fun hiking down local trails and just enjoying time together and celebrating a new year. The owners were very nice and gave us plenty of information about the cabin when we arrived. If you are looking for some privacy and a quiet place to stay and relax, this is the place to go.

Note on directions - My Tom Tom GPS with updated maps found the cabin with no problems and Google Maps had the same/similar directions. Mapquest seemed to take you into the neighboring county so make sure you check your directions before making the trip.
