Situated on the edge of Zone 1, close to two Tube stations and with frequent buses to Waterloo, Westminster and beyond, it is the perfect base for a vacation exploring London.

Both Tube stations are a 10-minute walk away, or take the bus and be at Tate Britain, Big Ben, or Westminster Abbey in 10-15 minutes!

The house is situated in a safe, quiet, residential street and with space to spread out and relax (a scarce commodity in most London holiday apartments) it is perfect for families, couples, or larger groups. On quiet nights you can even hear Big Ben strike and the River Thames is just a short walk away.

The new American Embassy is being built nearby, very close to the impressive MI6 building.

Please note that this is a traditional British semi-detatched house, not an apartment. You occupy the whole house, so no noisy neighbours above, or below!

There are two 'Local' express supermarkets 5-minutes away, plus cafés, delis and restaurants, all within easy reach. There are also two gyms nearby to work off the calories.

The property has recently been totally refurbished and is supplied with everything you'll need to make your stay stress free and comfortable and cut down on your luggage.

There is a small, but fully-loaded kitchen with dishwasher, washer/dryer, microwave and fridge/freezer.

Upstairs, are two large bedrooms, each with a king-sized bed and remote-controlled ceiling fans, a smaller bedroom with full sized bunk-bed and a family bathroom with bath tub and power shower.

Downstairs there is a shower room, a lounge with double sofa bed, ceiling fan and flat screen TV and a dining room (seats 8) leading out to a patio garden.

Baby cots and inflatable beds can also be supplied on request. The house is centrally-heated and double-glazed.

Linens, towels, bathrobes and 2 hairdriers are supplied.

The house sleeps 8 adults (in beds/sofabed, plus we can provide 2 extra cots for infants)

For relaxing at night, a selection of DVDs and Xbox 360 games are available (please ask, as we like to offer age appropriate films and Xbox games), as well as books and games.

Free Wi-Fi is available. Also supplied are two pay-as-you-go phones for you to use during your stay.

Some basic food stuffs to get you started are included, such as tea, coffee (instant, decaff and filter), milk, bread, eggs, butter, cooking oil, olive oil and condiments.

If you would like us to have your own shopping ready for you when you arrive we can arrange that for a small fee of £10, or you can order it online and have it delivered and we will put perishables in the fridge.

If you have any special requirements, please let us know and we will do our best.

Check in is 4 p.m. Check out is 10 a.m.

If you are arriving early, we can look after your luggage until check in time, so you can fit in some sightseeing.

We try to be as flexible as possible with arrival and departure times.

There is a total no smoking policy in the house, but guests may smoke in the garden.

Daily Parking Permits can be arranged, the current cost is £5 per day.

We are nearby, so always on call for any queries.

This house is simply perfect for anyone looking for a nice place to stay in London. The owners are both wonderful people who have clearly put thought and effort into creating a home away from home for their guests. The extra touches like the Oyster cards, the phones you can recharge, and the eggs and butter provided in the fridge on top of all the normal amenities provided in a house make it a simply wonderful place to stay.

We thoroughly enjoyed our 3 day stay at Bev and Jeff's house traveling from Vancouver, Canada. They have thought of all the little details one might need to make your stay welcoming. Pride of ownership shines through as we had other accommodation in England that paled in comparison. A short bus ride away to being right in the heart of London! We would highly recommend staying here and would go back in a heartbeat! Thanks Bev and Jeff!

Great set up for London stay!

Me and my friends stayed here to celebrate a big birthday. There were 8 of us and the two bathrooms and 3 bedrooms really held us all well. The quality of the house was good and the owners had set up the house to ensure you had information about local restaurants, take aways, transport near and around the house, local maps and other good information for people visiting london. They also provide oyster cards to aid local travel and mobile phones for any international visitors. It was very well set up and the owners were really friendly and very accommodating. Great stay and excellent place to celebrate!

Wonderful Home for London Tour -

En excursion familiale ( 6 personnes ) pour visiter Londres, cette maison s'est révélée extra en tous points de vue. Agréablement décorée et parfaitement équipée, elle est située à 2 pas des arrêts de bus qui permettent de rayonner rapidement pour visiter Londres. Commerces et restaurant également à 2 pas ( pizza et Cie ) voire plus loin mais toujours à pieds ( Indien, portugais, fish and ships...).
Les propriétaires sont attentionnés, frigo rempli pour le premier brunch, cartes Oyster, téléphones dispos, livre, DVD. Bref, on recommande vraiment. De plus la localisation permet de profiter des rives sud de la Tamise qui méritent de longues balades.

Highly recommanded House for families. Jeff and Bev are really kind people and wonderful hosts.
