Situated on the edge of Zone 1, close to two Tube stations and with frequent buses to Waterloo, Westminster and beyond, it is the perfect base for a vacation exploring London.

Both Tube stations are a 10-minute walk away, or take the bus and be at Tate Britain, Big Ben, or Westminster Abbey in 10-15 minutes!

The house is situated in a safe, quiet, residential street and with space to spread out and relax (a scarce commodity in most London holiday apartments) it is perfect for families, couples, or larger groups. On quiet nights you can even hear Big Ben strike and the River Thames is just a short walk away.

The new American Embassy is being built nearby, very close to the impressive MI6 building.

Please note that this is a traditional British semi-detatched house, not an apartment. You occupy the whole house, so no noisy neighbours above, or below!

There are two 'Local' express supermarkets 5-minutes away, plus cafés, delis and restaurants, all within easy reach. There are also two gyms nearby to work off the calories.

The property has recently been totally refurbished and is supplied with everything you'll need to make your stay stress free and comfortable and cut down on your luggage.

There is a small, but fully-loaded kitchen with dishwasher, washer/dryer, microwave and fridge/freezer.

Upstairs, are two large bedrooms, each with a king-sized bed and remote-controlled ceiling fans, a smaller bedroom with full sized bunk-bed and a family bathroom with bath tub and power shower.

Downstairs there is a shower room, a lounge with double sofa bed, ceiling fan and flat screen TV and a dining room (seats 8) leading out to a patio garden.

Baby cots and inflatable beds can also be supplied on request. The house is centrally-heated and double-glazed.

Linens, towels, bathrobes and 2 hairdriers are supplied.

The house sleeps 8 adults (in beds/sofabed, plus we can provide 2 extra cots for infants)

For relaxing at night, a selection of DVDs and Xbox 360 games are available (please ask, as we like to offer age appropriate films and Xbox games), as well as books and games.

Free Wi-Fi is available. Also supplied are two pay-as-you-go phones for you to use during your stay.

Some basic food stuffs to get you started are included, such as tea, coffee (instant, decaff and filter), milk, bread, eggs, butter, cooking oil, olive oil and condiments.

If you would like us to have your own shopping ready for you when you arrive we can arrange that for a small fee of £10, or you can order it online and have it delivered and we will put perishables in the fridge.

If you have any special requirements, please let us know and we will do our best.

Check in is 4 p.m. Check out is 10 a.m.

If you are arriving early, we can look after your luggage until check in time, so you can fit in some sightseeing.

We try to be as flexible as possible with arrival and departure times.

There is a total no smoking policy in the house, but guests may smoke in the garden.

Daily Parking Permits can be arranged, the current cost is £5 per day.

We are nearby, so always on call for any queries.

Excellent stay

Our family of four stayed here with my mother-in-law and nephew for three nights--it was ideal! The location was easy to get to via underground and bus, and so much better than staying in a hotel. Jeff and Bev took great care of us, even having the fridge stocked with some basics. There's a Sainsburys just up the road that's open until 10pm, so we were able to please our picky eaters and save a little on eating out. If you need (or just want) more space than a single hotel room can supply, I highly recommend staying here. Three bedrooms, two full baths, ceiling fans and a garden out back that's perfect for a morning cup of coffee and a book. I've been to London several times, but I enjoyed this vacation the most. We would LOVE to stay here again!

Fantastic venue

We had a stay at this fantastic venue from June 20th to 24th, and was very pleased with the stay. Everything was like described in the add, or even better. We were 4 adults, 2 children and 1 infant, and didn’t have any problems to fit in. We walked and used public transport to explore London, and we even got transport cards from Bev and Jeff.
We will certainly rent this house for our next trip to London, whenever that should be.

Great fun in London!!!

We had an absolutely wonderful time staying at this property in London. The hosts were friendly and generous. The unit was well stocked for us when we arrived and our hosts were there waiting for us even though we were a bit later than planned. They provided us with an orientation to the unit and to getting around in London, even loaning us some travel cards so we wouldn't need to make deposits on new cards. All in all, we had an incredible experience in London in large part due to accessibility of this unit and the generosity of our hosts. We will definitely look to book here again on future trips to London. Thanks so much for everything!!!

Still The Best!!!

My husband and I have just returned from a truly fabulous 6-night stay in this wonderful flat. This was our 3rd stay here. To be honest, I wondered when I booked the flat whether or not if it would still be as nice as it was the last two times that we rented it. It was! In fact, the owners, Bev and Jeff, continue to make improvements. I noticed that they have installed plantation shutters on the French doors in the dining room. The upstairs bedroom on the street side has a new pretty picture above the bed. They mentioned that a new couch has been purchased and will arrive soon. It’s nice to know that the place is being cared for and improvements continue to be made to an already excellent place to stay.

Bev and Jeff are excellent hosts, friendly and accommodating and knowledgeable about London. If you need a safe, clean, and quiet place to stay in London, you can’t go wrong with this flat.

Best Vacation Ever

The trip was the best vacation ever!! Since we have never gone out of the US, we were a little worried not knowing if the house would meet our expectations. HOWEVER, it met our expectations and beyond. The owners, Jeff and Bev, are absolutely wonderful, extremely nice and very helpful. When the opportunity arises, we will definitely make reservations with Jeff and Bev again and would recommend their house to anyone that is planning to make a trip to London. The bus stop was right around the corner and the house had all the accommodations of home!!

A home away from home!

Our family of three twenty-something "kids" and two active, (I hate to admit) senior adults rented Jeff and Bev's home for a long weekend recently. The house and it's location met all our expectations and more. First, both Jeff and Bev were there to greet us upon arrival and took great care to show us all the "how-to's" and "what's-where's" of the house. It had everything you needed for cooking, laundry, internet, rainy days and tourist information. They even provided breakfast for the first morning as well as a selection of teas and coffee. There was a drawer full of umbrellas which were put to good use. The beds were comfortable and all linens were provided. The location is great; just a short distance to two tube stations and a bus stop. Jeff and Bev provided us with oyster cards that each had a few pounds left by previous tenants. There were also two phones for our use while there. The area was very safe for walking and a grocery just a few blocks away came in handy. There are several restaurants if you want to eat nearby. Though we didn't see Jeff and Bev after our initial meet and greet it was nice to know they were right next door in case we had any problems. They seemed like a fun couple to know! All in all, I would highly recommend this rental and if we ever get back to London I wouldn't hesitate to rent from them again.
