Situated rue du Faubourg St-Martin, Totally renovated on January 2008 and entirely equipped, this flat will please you by its luminous interior, for a pleasant stay in Paris. Don't hesitate to walk on the paths on the edges of Canal St Martin 5 minutes walk away from the flat, have a drink in one of the many 'cafés' very animated.

The flat is very close by main tourist sites (Montmartre, Opéra, Grands Magasins, Louvre but it is also easy to get the major business centres as La Defense or Le Parc des Expositions de Villepinte. With 2 major Parisian railway Stations (gare de l'Est and gare du Nord) and about a dozen subway lines at 2 minute's walk, this flat is ideally situated. The Gare du Nord station is the terminus for Eurostar and trains coming from Charles de Gaulle Airport and the Gare de l'Est station is the Est TGV's last stop.

Faubourg St Martin street will take you by surprise with its multitude of small business and its restaurants.

We had a lovely holiday here.

Stayed here with my wife and our 18month old toddler. The rental agency were very helpful, and a cot for the child was provided as requested. The apartment itself was excellent - clean and spacious. We went to the baker shop on the corner every morning to get crosisants in for breakfast. And the supermarket accross the road was useful. We ate out in the nearby area several nights and were not short of options. Very hand for the Metro also just accross the road to get around Paris. 4 flights of stairs were tiring at night after a busy day, but no big problem! The stairs and stairway and bin area were clean and well lit. Other neighbours friendly if you passed them on the way out. 5 minutes walk to a park with children's play area was handy. And also very convenient for the train station, arriving from the airport. Absolutely no complaints, and would recommend anyone to stay in this apartment - a very good base for a trip to Paris.

Very nice apartment

Apartment is perfect location to the train station and shopping. We did not print out the information as instructed before leaving home to access the apartment, read the instructions and you won't have an issue. Nice man on the street offered he's cell phone and Anne helped us get in the apartment. The hot water is on a timer which prevented showering for two days, we were out of the apartment early every day and returned late after hot water turned off, the manual switch did work as instructed. There were no towels for the kitchen and only minimal towels for the shower. As noted there are a lot of stairs to climb but the apartment is very quiet.

As the other reviews state, the apartment is perfectly located, of adequate size, comfortable, and has everything one needs to stay for any length of time. The stairs - to the 5th floor by US count - were a bit of a challenge with luggage, but quite doable for anyone without physical handicap. The construction activity was in no way a problem. Workers were friendly and didn't start any noise before 9am. Excellent experience overall!

We stopped in Paris for the last leg of our trip, didn't want to stay in a hotel with our smaller children as it allows us to have food ready for them.
This flat is right across from Metro Chateau Landon which was super convenient. There were plenty of boulangeries and restaurants around, so finding something to eat was never an issue. We had a car, and they suggested we park at
Saint-Louis Hospital which worked out well as the rate for in/out access parking was extremely reasonable
The building as stated was under construction, which was fine as we were gone all day, and no work was done over weekend. The unit was very clean, and the bed linens were fresh.
If you have really small kids (ours were older than 5) the 4 flights of stairs might be an issue, but we were happy to walk off all the pastries we consumed.
My only suggestion to owners would be, it would have been nice to have seen updated touches to flat.

A bientot Paris!

Wir haben uns pudelwohl gefühlt. Die Wohnung ist geräumig, sauber und es fehlt wirklich an nichts. Die Lage ist perfekt um die Stadt zu erkunden. Die U-Bahn ist direkt vor der Tür, ebenso Bäcker und Supermarkt. Wir konnten Paris und die Lebensart so bestens genießen. Die Kreuzung vor dem Haus hat uns nicht gestört. Wir waren 6 Tage da und für uns hat es einfach zum Stadtleben dazugehört. Bei geschlossenen Fenster war es ruhig. Wir werden "unserer kleine Pariser Stadtwohnung" sehr vermissen.
