I have been living in Aix-en-Provence for 25 years. I'm a music lover and I love the cultural life of this city.

I love architecture, gardens and modern art.

I love hiking along the méditerranéen's coast or at Sainte-Victoire Mountain. I am really interested in gastronomy and I can give you a lot of advices.

International lyric art festival in summer gives a lot of operas and concerts. Also, in the beginning of July, Economists Circle organises very interesting conferences.

Great appartment with a superb location

Having lived for 5 years in Aix many years ago we looked for the perfect location to be able to easily walk to all the many places of interest. The apartment in located in the center of town in an area which was redeveloped in a modern style but is just across the street from the old town center. My wife and I spent almost a month in the apartment and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The proprietor was friendly and helpful in suggesting many of the new changes in the city to see. Don't hesitate to make your reservations.

Highly Recommend this apartment

We had a wonderful week touring around Provence and this apartment was the perfect home base. Excellent location in Aix allowing us to wander around this lovely city (the markets should not be missed) and easy access to motorways to explore Provence. Corinne was a very helpful and gracious host. The apartment is close to shopping, the underground parking is very convenient and the courtyard balcony was an added bonus. Highly recommend this apartment.

A Pearl in Provence

The location and security of this apartment were exemplary. It was a clean, nicely decorated and equipped place with a large and sunny balcony overlooking the courtyard. We would have given it five stars if the shower door hadn't continuously leaked while showering, and only two bath towels were provided for the entire week. Since the owner was out of town during our visit, it was very hard to contact her via email. Garage parking under the building was a definite plus. We would recommend this place to others, and we had a fabulous time in Aix-en-Provence.

Lovely stay

My husband and I rented this flat for 2 weeks and used it as a base to travel around the area in a rental car. We found the apartment very clean and cheerful. There was also a lovely terrace overlooking a courtyard with a garden. The location was perfect, very close to the centre of Aix, but also quiet and peaceful inside.

In addition, there was a parking garage under the building, which is a big help as parking on the street is very difficult and expensive.

The proprietor was very gracious and glad to help in whatever way possible.

Great stay in Aix

We stayed almost two weeks at the apartment. It was perfectly located in the town for walking to almost everything. The building is only about 5 years old so everything is pretty new. Having the parking place was really great and saved some money on parking fees and the need to look for a parking spot. We had boulangeries and restaurants within 200 feet of the door. The Le Darius restaurant across the street was good and reasonable as was the breakfast spot outside the door. It was nice and quiet and the balcony was a great place to sit in the evening or for breakfast. We drove every day, but one, so liked the relaxation when we returned. We had friends with a hotel and a condo more into the restaurant district and they had noise from partiers most nights.

The owner was very nice and had everything well organized and the condo was well equiped. We ate out most nights but had breakfast on the balcony most days.

This was a perfect place for a couple to spend two weeks in Provence. We would stay there again on our next trip.

Wonderful apartment, centrally located in Aix

My wife and I enjoyed a perfect stay in this apartment for two weeks. The apartment is exactly as described and pictured in the listing. It is quiet, secure, comfortable, and clean, fully equipped, and close to everything; it really feels good, and we settled in immediately. The terrace provides an added amenity that we enjoyed. The Visitors' Center, cafes, and a market are located within the apartment complex. The owner was available via email or phone to help as needed, and she provided many tips about Aix and Provence; the neighbors were also very friendly and helpful. In fact, everyone in Aix is friendly and pleasant.

Aix has a lot to offer (old town, historic sites, outdoor cafes, restaurants, a variety of outdoor markets and shops, exhibitions, performances, etc), and we walked easily to all of them even though we had a car. The apartment includes a garage beneath the building that makes renting a car convenient. We used Aix as a base to explore Provence; everything is within an hour's drive or so. Roads are well marked, and signs for towns and villages are easy to follow. Even Marseille is worth a visit.

We were pleased we chose this apartment and Aix as our base. We plan to return someday soon to the same apartment to explore further.
