The “Zen Den”, as we like to call it, is a combination of a beautiful hill country neighborhood, Lake Austin waterfront amenities, a private yoga studio, and a creatively designed and personalized home that anyone will feel completely comfortable in.

Perfect for a “stay-cation” or an extended weekend getaway the Zen Den offers all of the amenities one might find in a four-star hotel but with the comforts of home. Private yoga instruction, massage, and chef services are available upon request, and can be provided and set up in advance of your stay. Guests are also able to use the kayaks, stand-up paddle boards, and outdoor areas along the lakeside. **The boat house above the deck is not included in the rental**

Collector's Home: One of the most creatively designed homes managed by STR Austin this property showcases the owners private art and antique collection. Walk through the living room and notice a colorful array of rugs, artwork, and furnishings well-traveled and selected each by the owners themselves. Each bedroom designed with its own decor and theme, guests can feel right at home amongst this unique collection of Americana and modern art.

Area Description: This Tarrytown neighborhood hosts a variety of ranch-style, modern, and craftsman style homes in a series of cul-d-sac streets. This property is located just minutes from Austin’s storied Hula Hut, and along the shore of the always exciting Lake Austin. Directly across from this property is Laguna Gloria, an art museum and natural preserve. With many grocery stores, cafes, and golf located just minutes from the property anyone staying here can find something to do that fits their build.

Rules and Policies : Large groups are not recommended for this property, and capacity is limited to six people. All tenants must be at least 27 years of age, children okay. A strict “no party” rule is enforced in this listing, and families/couples are encouraged to inquire as it offers an amazing opportunity for a fun weekend away.

Check-in time is 4 pm and check-out is 10 am. Check out times are firm unless negotiated prior to a signed rental agreement. A two night minimum stay is required and we do not allow anyone under the age of 25 to book a property. If a group wants to book a property over the maximum occupancy, there will be a fee of $50/per person for each night.

We accept credit card payments via PayPal and security deposit is due upon signed rental agreement. Security deposit is $500 or 20% of the total rent amount, whichever is higher. You then have 7 days to remit full rental amount and a reservation confirmation will be sent. If you cancel within the 7 day period your security deposit will be fully refunded.

EXCELLENT STAY! HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!

We thoroughly enjoyed this home for a family birthday we were celebrating for our dad. This house is not only beautiful, but it is unique. The interior design is filled with conversation pieces and fascinating artifacts. I have never seen anything like it. There is an awesome plasma screen TV for those members of your party who aren't so into sitting on the spacious boat deck. The deck alone is incredible. There are cabanas for you to sit in, a small refrigerator for drinks, and canoes to explore on. The home is located at the end of a channel that is close to a nature reserve. We enjoyed our morning coffee on the deck watching all the unique birds. Best of all, this place is located in a serene neighborhood! We loved being so close to downtown yet still feeling like we were miles away from the city. We enjoyed ourselves doing nothing but hanging out at the house. Thanks!
