Honolulu Condo Rental Photos and Description
Condo, 1 Bedrm + Conv. bed(s), 1 Bath, (Sleeps 2-4), Full Kitchen, Large Lanai!
We've done it again after VRBO # 56097 ! Welcome to this newly re-modeled 19th floor 1928 glamorous all new complete with everything homey and gorgeous home away from home. You'll never want to leave!!! And yes, it has sofas and chairs but the photographer arrived before the furniture store delivery truck! lol
Your room greets with a view of Diamond Head, ocean and lagoon. Watch the Friday night fireworks from your oversized lanai. Dine next door at world famous Morimoto Restaurant or go up the glass elevator to Sarento's at the Top of the Ilikai for drinks in the round and catch a magnificent sunset then watch Honolulu twinkle at night with their breathtaking panoramic views. Check your e-mail with your free Wi Fi. There’s a reason Elvis stayed at the Ilikai along with presidents and other notables — maybe it was the 40 year tradition of Hawaiian torch lighting that happens nightly.
The Ilikai is an oceanfront hotel that stands proudly at the entrance to Waikiki, overlooking the most famous beach in the Pacific. A private walkway leads directly from the hotel to the redesigned Duke Kahanamoku Lagoon and the most desirable strand of Waikiki Beach. From our lovely and spacious ocean view room on the 19th floor which faces the ocean and the lagoon, we think you will love it here as we offer relaxing accommodations that suit your every need. You can snorkel, surf, hike, kayak, paddle board, scuba, swim, or shop within minutes and all the equipment is available here.
The Ilikai's convenient location allows for easy access from Waikiki to many popular area attractions. You'll find yourself within easy walking distance to Ala Moana Beach Park, Ala Moana Center, Waikiki Beach Walk, and the Hawaii Convention Center. Downtown Honolulu is located only a few minutes away by car. The outlet malls have buses which pick you up here!
Most all our wonderful guests are returning ones and we hope you will come again and again. You will feel like royalty!
In our enthusiasm to get our photos out to you, we shot before the sofas and chairs were delivered but we were eager to get them to you!!!
- children welcome
- limited accessibility
- non smoking only

About Scott Thomas and Patricia Rust
I, Patricia, am a travel writer so I know what I look for. I tried to bring every aspect of a traveler's comfort to you in terms of joy, ease, and relaxation in this tropical paradise. As a travel professional, I have accumulated a lot of knowledge which I have translated into this condo in terms of beauty, luxury, and serenity.
Scott Thomas and Patricia Rust purchased this condo in 2007
Why Scott Thomas and Patricia Rust chose Honolulu
I bought this 'Dream of Aloha' to live in myself. I must have looked at a kajillion condos and having lived in Hawaii I knew them all! The Ilikai has the others beat hands down! And mine has the perfect view! I asked the hotel desk which was best and they said '28's and that's the one I bought for me! I decorated it with the finest money could buy but circumstances didn't allow me to live there yet so I am using it as a vacation rental so that other people can enjoy it in the meanwhile. I keep the rate competitive and I like making new friends from all over the world!
What makes this condo unique
Convenient to everything, this location can't be beat! Shopping, swimming, surfing -- everything is at your fingertips! It doesn't get any better than this!
