Modern Condo on Private Beach With Spectacular Ocean View

My husband and I stayed at Las Olas condos which is located between Sosua and Cabarete in the Dominican Republic. We stayed for six weeks in what we feel may be the best location if you're looking for apartment living in the DR. The condo itself was well situated, equidistant between Sosua and Cabarete (no more than a ten minute drive from either location) on a pretty much private beach. Puerto Plata airport is very close (about 20 minutes by car). The condo is modern and very well equipped with everything you'll need in the kitchen. The master bedroom is huge with an extremely comfortable king size bed and very good bedside reading lamps. The master bath has a walk in shower which was perhaps my favourite part of the condo (aside from the comfy bed) and the guest bath has a tub and shower. There is more than ample storage in all rooms in the condo and the guest bedroom has two single beds and is spacious as well. There's a beautiful terrace from which you can have a meal or simply watch the waves crashing in. Richard Hunt, the on-site property manager was extremely friendly and helpful and could be called upon for assistance at any time of the day or evening. Las Olas is located in a very safe upscale neighbourhood so there is absolutely no worry about safety. A local grocery chain called Playero is located in Sosua and it has everything you could want. If you want to go further afield to Puerto Plata (about 25 minutes drive away) there's a very large store (similiar to Canada's Superstore) called La Sirena. I would recommend a car at Las Olas, however, you can easily get around using the local minivans called guaguas for about fifty cents a ride. The guaguas will pick you up on the main road which is about a ten minute walk from the condo's location and drop you off wherever you like either in Cabarete or Sosua. I would definitely recommend Las Olas. The price is right and the owner, Jeanelle, is a sweetheart to deal with. She answered every concern either by phone or email absolutely immediately. Well all I can say is that i won't be doing another all inclusive in the DR..I was lucky enough to get a connection to the best vacation spot that I ever had the pleasure of staying at.The Condo is state of the art all you have to do is look at the pictures and you can tell that the owners spared no expense when they renovated this piece of heaven.The condo is in an awesome location just minutes away from Cabarete and sasousa two of the great hot spots in the DR.The property is in a gated community surrounded with 24 hour security and friendly people that will do anything to help you if you are ever in need.This place is what I personally call my comfort zone I want to relax this is where I go it's obvious a place I love I've been there 3 times in the last 3 months.The property also has an awesome restaurant and a convienance store .Folks take my advice you won't be disappointed with your stay here it's totally awesome book it while you have the chance ...because i'm thinking of booking it soon lets see who can book it first..
