The Barbizon has long been one of the best Hotel Alternatives in South Beach and is perfectly located between 5th and 6th Street, right on Ocean Drive. Out the front door are the many restaurants, bars and people watching that makes South Beach one of the most desirable places to visit in the World. And just across the street is South Beach itself.

The Building itself is very well maintained, clean and secure. Coin operated Washer and Dryer are available on each floor; and a Receptionist is available during the day Monday through Friday.

The Studio itself was just painted and updated and includes free WiFi, Cable TV, Cd/iPod.Radio, and all the small things that make a trip from home more comfortable-Iron/Ironing Board, HairDryer...and a Full Kitchen with all the basic Appliances-Refrigerator, Oven/Stove, Microwave, Coffee Maker, Kettle, Toaster, Dishes, Cups, Utensils, etc.

There is one Queen Bed with a Sealed Mattress, Duvet, New Pillows and Sheets...and always delivered clean; And a Queen Sofa Bed too.

Its a necessity!!

First I want to start off by saying I have stayed and done business with Lee the property owner on several occasions. He is flexible and easy to work with. i have only stayed at his properties since I started frequenting Miami. This is my 2nd time staying at this property and it is so perfect for me. One reason is because it is in the heart of everything Ocean Dr. The beach it literally across the street and the restaurants on Oceans are all walking distance. When I come to Miami I don’t stay in the room, so what is the need to get a out of this world expensive hotel is I’m not going to stay put in it long enough. Don’t get me wrong this place is NICE!! It has all of the necessities a person may need for a fabulous Miami vacay. The bed it way more comfortable than it may look and the space is perfect. The reason I love this place the most is because it’s near everything I need. Big Pinks restaurant and Nikki Beach is four blocks up, the beach is across the street, the shopping strip right behind Ocean, Fat Tuesdays and Clevelander a few blocks away, and David’s (my favorite place to eat) only a few blocks as well. All in all, this place is necessary for anyone looking for a place that is NOT a hotel and offers all the amenities a person needs. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable place when vacationing in Miami.

Great property! Clean, well maintained and right on 5th street Ocean Drive where it all happens! Between many restaurants to choose from, Wallgreens around the corner to fill up your fridge, look cute for on the beach!
My husband and I had a great time!

I was a little apprehensive at first to rent a room from a private owner, but the price was too good and based on the reviews i decided to go with it. I just came back from my stay here and i will literally NEVER stay at a hotel again in south beach. The price was ridiculously good for the location and the owner Lee is extremely professional and was very prompt with responding back to my emails and answering his phone. The room was clean and he sent my deposit within a day of checking out. If you're thinking of staying at south beach and you want to get a good deal, definitely go with Lee because he has several types of properties that can work for small and large groups and he is definitely worthy of your trust and business. Thank you Lee, your professionalism and hospitality was very much appreciated!

Best place to play tourist!

My daughter and I came back to visit miami and luckily chose to stay here. Where we got to play tourist in one of the best locations! The apartment is very clean and has everything you could want. The kitchen was a huge plus for us and there is a blender so I could make my shakes in the morning. The location is great for getting up early and seeing the sunrise as we did. The building is very safe and neighbors are friendly. I would totally stay here again! Thanks again Lee for providing us such a wonderful place to stay when we came back to visit our friends in Miami !!!

Great Stay On Ocean

My stay was great. The Location was great. Price was great. This was my first time booking a vacation rental and traveling alone. Lee was very professional and his reply time was very good especially compared to other people I tried to rent from. This condo was very nice. The only downside is the hallways look a little run down. I would most definitely book and stay again if ever in Miami. Also received my deposit the day after I returned from my vacation. Very fast!!!!
