Quiet Peaceful Retreat in Temecula's Wine Country
This beautifully appointed property is situated high above Temecula’s wine country. The home is exactly as depicted in the photos on the website and is located in an upscale community that is noticeably peaceful and quiet. Although this home sits away from the busyness of the city, shopping and restaurants are close by and wine tasting is a very short drive just down the road.
The property manager met us the day of our arrival to introduce us to the house. We found him gracious, kind and was quick to offer information on Temecula and the wine country. Throughout our stay, the property manager was only a phone call away, always ready to answer any question, meet any need.
As the photos show, this is a luxury home, “junior-sized,” finely furnished and fully appointed with sheets, towels, dishes, utensils, entertainment system, washer and dryer, and garage, everything you could need for a pleasant and comfortable stay. The kitchen is lavish, top of the line, the living room formal and pleasant. The two bedrooms are “master bedrooms,” each with an adjoining bathroom. Patio seating is available in front or behind the house so you can enjoy the sun any time of the day.
During our stay we followed a suggestion to drive a little over an hour to Julian, a quaint town known for its apple pies. We poked around many of the shops then ended our day with a delicious bite to eat. The San Diego Safari Park is only an hour’s drive away and offers a delightful day of viewing the wonderful animals living there. The Temecula Olive Oil Company, located in Old Town, is worth a visit where they are always happy to offer you an olive oil tasting. The Gourmet Italia Restaurant just off Ynez is a wonderful romantic dinner spot. South Coast Winery and Spa has a nice lunch or dinner menu and wine tasting most every day. Leoness Winery, Danza Del Sol and a few other wineries are just down the road from this property and make for an enjoyable afternoon outing. We celebrated our 40th wedding anniversary ballooning over Temecula and will never forget it. That's an adventure you really ought to consider.
If you are looking for a nice quiet-paced private retreat in the warm sun while watching hot-air balloons blossom nearly every morning in the valley below, then we recommend you book a stay here. And don’t forget to enjoy the beautiful sunsets. What a better place to enjoy a glass of wine than from your quiet front patio overlooking Temecula's wine country.
