Buckets of Charm

My husband and I spent a week in this charming condo. Condo seems like the wrong word as it makes me think of something new and lacking charm. “Esplanade in the Shade” is an utterly charming haven. As we were there the first week of December, the owners had already decorated every room of the 200 year-old abode for Christmas, just adding to the charm. The kitchen and bathroom have been updated and had everything we needed. It was so nice to find everything was as advertised: plenty of large coffee cups (and coffee for the maker!) extra towels and blankets. It felt like home.
I am known in my family as a bit of a princess. That being said, there was a little extra noise and street light at night than I was used to, and I was glad that I had brought my sleep mask and earplugs. (I always travel with them) My better half, no problems for him. All he needs is a comfy bed, which it was, and out he went.
Lovely abode, perfect location, friendly and helpful Carol, beautiful town, great vacation!
