It is conveniently located close to everything, where you can taste the locals and the rest… Walking distance from a local supermarket, a local restaurant, a bakery and a sea food market, where fresh fish is awaiting for you to buy at low price!!! Some other nice restaurants, shopping malls, and points of interest for you to sight seeing are located near and some others within 1 hour driving, without the crowded feeling of the metropolitan area. However, you always have the option to drive to Old San Juan (1 hour away) and El Yunque Rain Forest (2 hours away) and come back to relax.
Amenities: The property is on a second floor of a two story house with a stairway as the only access to the house. Villa Abeja Beach House is a fully furnished and equipped house with a secure gated parking for 2 cars. The house has 3 bedrooms (2 bedrooms with full beds and another bedroom with 2 twin beds), 1 full bathroom, living room, dinning room, full kitchen and a balcony with a magnificent view to the Atlantic Ocean. It has convenient appliances such as refrigerator, microwave, toaster, coffee maker, cooking gears, stove, ceiling fans everywhere, water heater, 32” Flat TV Screen, basic cable, internet access/WIFI and DVD. And…….of course, your own private beach right on your backyard with a nice 30’ X 15' wooden deck with a gas BBQ Grill and 4 beach chairs for your enjoyment. A nice Bamboo outside shower is there for your convenience to rinse off the excess sand before going upstairs. You will fall in love with this property. I'm sure you will come back.
Historical sites: The Arecibo Light House is a historical monument erected in 1898, which is 3 minutes away walking from our backyard. It was the last lighthouse built on the Island by the Spanish. La Cueva del Indio is an archelogical site located 10 minutes away driving. Drawings of Indian that lived in this area in the Prehistorical Era are found in the walls of the cave.
Local cuisine - fresh sea food: You can go walking to El Guayabo Rest., a very typical place to taste local cuisine made with fresh sea food catch by fishermen right across the street in the Marina. Other restaurants such as El Salitre, El Salpicón, Picholo, The Light House are available for all tastes.
