Your Home in Old Jaffa- 'Harova' Exclusive Residential Complex

I would like to highly recommend this apt. for several reasons. Roy was always quick to return my email and always answered questions promptly.
The location is so very perfect. It is in a residential area, yet steps away from the clock tower and central to anything you want to seeor do in Jaffa. Tel Aviv is so easy to walk to. Also the Flea Market is just steps away. I walked an easy 20 minutes to the Carmel Market and took the #10 bus back to Yeffat St. for only 6.60 shekels. The beach is close and my husband swam everyday. We walked around at night in the Kedemin Square when the atmosphere is even more magical. Also at night in the same area of the Flea Market, there was entertainment and loads of places to eat. A cool photo opportunity is Jonah's Whale sculpture made by Ilana Goor. Also the hanging Jaffa Orange tree. Get lost in the narrow alleys and walk around the Port at night to soak up the atmosphere. So much fun! There are fresh fish vendors steps away. You pick out your fish, they weigh it and fillet it.
The photos were very accurate and having two balconies is such a bonus. We used the metal electronic shutters to keep the heat out when it was hot but the shutters were also great room darkening devices so we were able to sleep in without the light shining in our eyes.
The kitchen was well equipped with lots of dishes and pots and pans. We have rented in so many places where the owners leave only a tiny bit of either soap or toilet paper. It was funny because we bought toilet paper and later realized there was another supply but we just didn't see it. Also there was liquid soap for the washing machine. There is no dryer but we put the clothes on an extra spin and they dried really fast on the balcony.
The apt. is really quite new so everything worked really well. Also the outside property is well maintained and the apt. was clean. Elevators are quick although I just took the stairs.
There is a free two hour walking tour that starts at the visitor information centre near the clock tower. It ends at other visitor centre in the square. They give you a sticker for a half price admission to the Jaffa attraction if you go on the same day! I think it is Wed. at 10 AM. We were going to get a car but we didn't need one in the end!
The really thoughtful thing Roy did was to leave freshly ground coffee, milk and a nice bottle of wine.
