Located in Playacar Phase I, our vacation casa offers a perfect stay in an ideal location. Our FOUR bedroom home provides a quiet respite and an elegant visit to the charming Riviera Maya - literally on the beautiful blue Caribbean and a short walk from the village of Playa del Carmen.

Our custom decorated home provides gorgeous ocean views from all of the bedrooms, a fully-equipped kitchen (with everything you might need to prepare a quick snack or a full meal), a comfortable and elegant living area, and all the amenities of a five-star resort.

Each of the 4 bedrooms has a super comfortable king bed and european-quality cotton linens -- bath and beach towels are provided. All bedrooms have their own private ensuite bathroom and televisions. We comfortably accommodate up to eleven people (8 adults and 3 children on sofa beds).

Our home comes complete with maid service and includes satellite television, quality audio system and internet access from your laptop. Stay cool with central air conditioning with individual controls in each bedroom and ceiling fans throughout.

Casa Callaway features its own private pool, contemporary finishings and artwork as well as stunning tropical landscaping.

Playa del Carmen is a popular vacation destination for people all over the world seeking warmth, water and a wealth of recreation and relaxation in a setting that does not include high-rises and mega-resorts. Playa offers world-class everything: charm, cuisine, sightseeing, and shopping. A lively day-time beach scene that is blissfully quiet at night.

Casa Callaway well-located and just a short distance to dive boats, shopping, spa treatments, and world-class dining. Take a two-minute walk to beachside bistros for breakfast or lunch. Dinner choices range from regional Mexican fare to five-star dining. Play golf, snorkel, scuba, windsurf, parasail, fish, bike, boat, walk and explore the beauty and history of the Mayan Riviera from your home away from home.

Playa del Carmen is easy to get to: fly into Cancun (or Cozumel and take the ferry to Playa) and either take a 30-minute cab to Calle Sixth and the beach or a luxury bus to the Playa terminal just two blocks from your vacation home. If you'd like, we'll arrange transportation from the airport to your vacation door.

I rent this house and other properties for friends and family. I have visited this love villa many times (as well as Playa del Carmen) and can provide a great deal of visitor information to you. I love Mexico, am studying the language and want to assure you that Playa is safe and wonderful - we just returned from a week in paradise. Now is a great time to go!

Went with a group of friends and KICKED IT at Casa Callaway end of November/first of December, 2012. It was the best vacation of our lives. We've been to 30+ islands and been a die-hard fan for cruising but this topped it all. The house was amazing. The ocean view and access is amazing. The water is amazing. Just enough people on the beach to not feel isolated but not too many so that you feel crowded either. It was very private but social. The perfect balance. 3 of the 4 bedrooms face the ocean - the best part was waking up and being able to watch the sun rise over the ocean without even having to get out of bed. The house is loaded with tons and tons of windows and glass doors so that the sunlight just explodes throught the house! The a/c keeps the house nice and cold but it's almost better to just open everything up and let that Caribbean breeze blow through! The location is great - you can get around nicely and get everything you need/want... without having to go too far. One of the best things was the cook. If you are so lucky as to stay at Casa Callaway - you cannot accept any less than the best... YOU HAVE TO INSIST ON MIERYA FOR YOUR COOK!!! She is AWESOME!!! Her homemade salsa's and guacamole's will quickly become your favorite! And let's not even talk about her Margarita's and Mojito's!!! Just having her there was special - she is just pure sweetness!!! And you know that she cooks for you just like you were her own family! You can choose your own menu or let Mierya surprise you and you will not be disappointed! The maids keep the house clean and fresh beds every day... it just doesn't get any better than this. The friends that we went with... they had been there before and I had to hear them talk about it for 2 whole years before we got to go and see it for ourselves and it was worth the wait! You cannot go wrong at Casa Callaway - We can't wait to go back!!! We will go back again and again!!! Worth every penny - had the time of our lives!!!

family pre x mas fun. great location, great home, perfect beach, very helpful staff, we would recommend this home to anyone who loves Mexican beaches and FUN!!!
You can walk into Playa and cab back. This is right next to the Reef club in phase one. Try Piona the italian restaurant...

What a wonderful experience! This property was everything it was advertised to be! The staff is world class. From check-in until we left we felt totally pampered. The chef is world class. We were blown away with her selection and skills. We ate on 5th ave one evening and quickly learned that was a mistake. Just let her do your shopping and you sit back and enjoy! We ate at Casa Calloway the rest of the trip. The maid and the house manager were equally as impressive, they took care of our every need. This was the first time I felt like my trip did not fly by. We were so relaxed that our 9 day trip seemed like two weeks. We were totally in control of our vacation. We loved being next to the Reef resort it was great people watching. Wave runners and fishing boats were always close. For you golfers do not be afraid of the PlayaCar golf course. Everyone says it is so hard, I am a 15 handicap and it was not that scarry. Enjoy the course, and it is definetly very reasonable compared to some of the other courses. The beach is greatly improved from the hurricane problems. It was very nice and relaxing. We just can't wait to go back. The Kansas City Crew, Dec. 2010!!!

Best Vacaction to Date!!!!

Wow! Wow! Wow! This was an awesome vacation! My husband and I stayed at Casa Callaway with 3 other couples and were blown away by our experiences. Lets start with the house...can you say beautiful???? Waking up every morning walking out on the patio, staring at the beach and hearing the waves crashing was the best. I was so relaxing. Mireyada (sp?) the cook was fanatastic we had a meeting amongst ourselves to see how we could bring her back to the states with us...she is FABO! There was not a meal that was not exquisite. The massage ladies were so wonderful that after we ladies of the group raved about the them we decided to have them come back for couple massages...how relaxing and just what we all needed. Lets not forget Amelia the cleaning lady who did a thorough and fantastic job of having our house smell so fresh and so clean every single day of our stay. Please, please, please tip these wonderful people well b/c they so deserve it! We are already planning to come back in two years (because we already have a trip scheduled for December 2011) but this time we are staying 2 WEEKS!!!!!

We stayed at Casa Callaway Sept. 16th 2009. The place is amazing we have been staying in resorts in Playa for 15 years and have never had a vacation like this one. My whole family was thrilled with the staff and property. The pictures show you exactly what to expect and once you get settled in you will feel like you just won the lottery. The only complaint we had the whole time was there AC in the common area was not comfortable but we used one of the extra rooms to play cards in the evening. I would reccomend the cook she will make you feel like you are in the lap of luxery but just tell her what you want and let her got to the store. You can make a trip on your own for snack food she will be able to meet you needs without the 2 hour trip to Wal Mart. It has been 10 days since we came back and we are still talking about what a great time we had it seemed to last 2 weeks since you had the freedom to do what you wanted when you wanted. The house was spotless and the perfect locaiton. Thank you Casa Callaway for the vacation of a lifetime, see you next year!
