My family and I enjoyed celebrating thanksgiving at the Lodge. The house was plenty big and plenty warm. We were comfortable and had easy access to two grocery stores, starbuck's, fast food, the freeway, etc. The location was perfect for access to Beaver Creek Village and Ski Resort, as well as many others we did not have time to visit. The heated garage was nice, though our huge rented SUV would not fit. The kitchen was well stocked with equipment, including a waffle iron that I fell in love with. We had to purchase our own turkey baster, and we could have used a few more mixing bowls, another large pot and a food processor/hand mixer for making a huge thanksgiving feast. A coffee grinder would have been useful, though the grocery store is a closeby alternative. There is a lovely couch and two recliners in the main living area, which was a little tight for the 5 of us. Another couch would fit nicely and I'm sure would be well used. We felt the listing was accurate, the house was clean, the steam sauna was a nice feature, and I would recommend this house to any would-be renters looking to relax in Vail.
