Parma Vacation Rental farmhouse: Besozzola

The old stonehouse by the church has perfect comfort and very sweet hosts. The bedrooms and bathrooms are big and nice. The open fireplace makes the quiet evenings peacefull and cosy, and in the mornings coffe or tea are with a beautifull view. Theres plenty of room for eight grown up people.
We were on very beautifull sightseeings to Cinque terre and portofino at the coast, and to the spectacular historic city Parma were tourists parks for free. Here you must see the old baroque theater made all in wood in the old Farnese Palace, now city museum. The renaissance churches with Correggio and Parmigianinos murals. The Farnese garden palace with fantastic manieristic frescoes, now police headquarters, but open for a small fee, and the beautifull small convent with Correggios unique mythological murals. Parma is a true treasurbox of north italian renaissance art and all is reached on foot, nice shopping too. .
North of Italy holds a lot of old castles. Fontanellato near Parma are open all year round situated very nice with local shops who sells icecream, coffee and local specialities to tourists. The old castle holds famous mythological murals of a young Parmigianino.
From the holiday house of Frank and Roisin, Parma can be reached within an hour down the rolling hills, Cinque Terre in two hours down the highway ore over the mountains on the old road.
Around the house are fine pathways to other small mountain towns and all over the view of beautifull rolling hills.
This hollyday house can be highly recommended, though we came from Denmark we were treated like old friends and all practical arrangements and communication ran smoothly.
