Located in Ogden Valley, a beautiful mountain valley in the Wasatch Mountains 45 minutes from Salt Lake City airport. The house has views of the Snowbasin ski resort (site of the 2002 Winter Olympic Games) on one side and Pineview reservoir on the other. Snowbasin is a 10 min drive away, Powder Mountain ski resort a 20 min drive, Wolf Creek golf resort a 10 min drive, and Pineview reservoir a short walk across the highway.
Snowbasin is the ski resort closest to the house (visible out the front windows). Snowbasin was chosen to host the 2002 Olympic games. As such, millions of dollars were spent to upgrade lifts and facilities. Still, Snowbasin retains its small resort feel and remains a well kept secret. The crowds head for the big name resorts farther south. The staff is friendly and they have an excellent ski school which has taught our girls to ski. In short, we love the place and consider it “our mountain'.

Summer Activities: Boating / Water Skiing: The Pineview Reservoir is more or less across the street on the downhill side of the house. There are three marina / boat ramps, Port Ramp Marina on the northwest side of the lake, Cemetery Point in Huntsville on the opposite (east) side of the lake, and Anderson Cove Campground on the southwest side, which is just down the hill on the opposite side of Highway 39.
Golfing: The Wolf Creek Resort is about 6 miles north just outside of Eden. They have an 18 hole, par 72 course which is open to the public.

Utah Olympic Park: Utah Olympic Park is the site of the nordic jumping and sliding sports (bobsled, luge, and skeleton) for the 2002 Winter Games. It’s now used as a year-round competition and training facility. You can see athletes practicing jumps off the Olympic ski jump hill (even in summer) and aerial acrobatics into the Freestyle training pool. You can also purchase a ticket to ride down the bobsled run and mountain zip line.
