3 bedroom villa with private pool - fully equipped for up to 6 + 1 infant.

Villa Krinos is a new villa completed in 2007 and is set in 800sq.m. of landscaped gardens on the edge of the traditional village of Karavados. It has magnificent views of the sea, Mt. Enos and the island of Zakynthos. Wi-Fi broadband internet is available - enquire for details.

The first floor has 1 twin & 1 double bedroom - each with panoramic views of the sea & mountains from the large balconies - and a bathroom.

The ground floor has a double bedroom, bathroom, fully fitted kitchen and dining room with terrace to the pool. The lounge room has comfy seating for 6, wide-screen TV, DVD, stereo sound system(with USB & MP3) and an outdoor dining terrace leading to the pool.

Outside is a large, tiled 9m x 4m infinity pool surrounded by stone paving, large greek style BBQ, umbrellas and table, chairs and sunbeds for 6. Shaded outdoor dining terrace off the livingroom allows for relaxed dining whilst overlooking the pool & garden.

Villa Krinos is situated in a quiet location on the edge of the traditional village of Karavados in southern Kefalonia. There are several beaches, restaurants & shops within 5 kms., as well as two mini-markets and a taverna in Karavados. Only 2km. (1.25 miles) away is the picturesque, sandy beach of St. Thomas with its crystal clear water, safe bathing & 2 tavernas & bar.

Nearby to Karavados is the town of Peratata (3.5km) which has a good range of shops and facilities - such as restaurants, bakery, cake shop (fantastic chocolates!), butchers, mini-markets, chemist, health centre, petrol station and bowling alley. The resorts of Lourdas & Trapezaki are a short 5 - 7 minute drive.

The villa is less than 15 minutes drive from the airport and the capital of Argostoli with it's attractive seafront & restaurants, shops and the meat, fish and fruit & vegetable markets. At night the pedestrianised main square & shopping mall comes alive with people enjoying themselves.

Superb Villa!

We had a wonderful family holiday in early August at villa Krinos. The villa is superb. Owners Robert and Ann provided excellent directions to the villa and Ray and Lorna were there to meet us at the villa and were really helpful and always on hand if we needed anything throughout our stay. The villa is set in a very peaceful location with beautiful views and only a short drive to the beaches. The pool is a really good size and always clean thanks to Bob the pool man, who comes twice a week. The villa is superbly equipped with everything one could need for a family. The rooms are very spacious with air conditioning and wonderful views. Would definitely recommend.

We have sadly returned from this beautiful villa. Cannot recommend it enough. We have been renting holiday villas for our family for many years and this has to come top of them all. The pool is stunning and always clean- Bob the pool man does an amazing job. Loran and Ray were brilliant too and always helpful. Very very peaceful with just the occasional goat bell at sunset. Thanks Robert and Ann for the use of your little patch of paradise!

Great for children

We've just returned from a wonderful holiday at Villa Krinos with our daughter, son in law and two grandchildren aged 2 and 5. It was everything you could wish from a villa and more. Clean, air conditioned throughout, lovely pool, the best equipped kitchen, BBQ and so much for the children including a bag of beach toys,beach umbrella, Lego, pool inflatables and DVDS. I loved sitting watching the sunrise over the mountains with a cup of tea before everyone woke up. We liked St Thomas and Trapezaki beaches.Sandy and with good tavernas for lunch.Wish we had been able to stay for two weeks!

We stayed at Villa Krinos whilst attending a wedding in June and the place facilities where spot on and perfectly suited to our needs.

Lovely, simple and clean rooms, gorgeous pool, very close to the beach and some lovely places to eat too. Would definitely recommend. Thank you Villa Krinos!

Just returned from a wonderful holiday at Villa Krinos. The villa was fantastic; the photos can't portray how lovely it is or the beautiful mountain and sea views from the terrace. It is very clean and spacious. All 3 bedrooms are a good size. The welcome pack of bread, milk, water, biscuits etc was greatly appreciated. We have stayed at many villas abroad and this is definitely the best one we have had the pleasure to stay at! It is extremely well equipped, including essentials such as bin bags, washing up liquid and toilet paper! Lorna and Ray are very helpful and do a fantastic job of maintaining the villa. They even came to meet us part of the way on our journey to the villa to make sure we found it. The pool is huge and half of it is very deep. The air conditioning was great, but it is quite a cool villa, so we didn't need it on all the time.The island itself is fantastic; very peaceful and quiet and more beautiful beaches than you could ever hope to visit! We liked Mounda beach which is near Katelios. We flew to Athens and traveled to Kefalonia by coach and ferry, which is very easy to do. We then spent 5 days in Athens before returning home. It is an amazing city! Thanks to Robert and Anne for all of the info that they gave us about the villa and the location. I would definitely recomend this villa.
