A memorable weekend!

On the weekend of Feb 9-12, I was part of a group of five couples staying at the inn. I’ll try not to re-iterate the comments of Dave H. and Dina B. The TV is a 40” projection set with component connections. Don’t bring your HDMI or apple TV, not much use. But one of us brought an Apple Express and set up a mini network, which we joined all our Ipods, Ipads and laptops to. All of which allowed us to have a massive Itunes library we played through the house system, (surround sys for the TV). A few of us are musicians and we brought instruments. Can’t express the good times we had. Next year full drum set for me.
Many in the group were good cooks and picked breakfast, or lunches, or dinners to prepare, (we brought way too much food).
The kitchen was more than adequate for the meals prepared and seriously we had some good cooks working it. One thing though, bring steaks! It’s a restaurant grill that’s begging to be used.
Never saw the neighbors, if there were any. Great views and total seclusion.
The bar was the most used location from bloodymary’s in the morning to each couples signature drinks in the evening. Too many self-proclaimed bartenders though.
Charlie was always available, but hardly visable. He supplies all the tools for you to create your own good time.
We get away a fair amount and this was one of the most enjoyable weekends we’ve ever had. Can’t wait until next year.
Final note, if you go looking to get away and have a good time, you’ll have a great time. If you’re looking to be pampered, this is not for you. Unless you bring that special someone with you.
