2 baths with toilets.
The kitchen is equipped with all major appliances, dishes, pots and pans.
There is a laundry room right off the kitchen.

The dining room with cathedral ceiling has a cozy sitting area, flatscreen TV with BD/DVD and lots of windows to enjoy the pond view.
There is an outdoor porch which overlook the garden.
Use of an outdoor propane grill.

Bicycling: This is the perfect location for any kind of bicycling. Dirt roads, road and MTB.
Fully equipped work shop with Park tools for mountain bikes and road racers.

Killington Resort approx. 45 min. away stretches across six mountains and features 140 trails served by 22 lifts. I am 48 years young. Father to three wonderful teenagers and husbond to Bolette. I work as a high school math teacher and love to teach and being around the students. I thrive with life long learning and love to read when I find the time.
With a background as owner of a furniture shop in Luxembourg I highly appreciate the form and function of the things that I am surrounded by.
My wife is also a high school math teacher. She is fond of gardening and seems to have endless plans for changing the garden layout.
We live in Denmark but spend as much time as possible in Vermont where many of our best friends live.
I spend a lot of time performing my sports: windsurfing, kayak, fitness, mtb and boxing.

For more than 30 years I have been visiting my friends in Windsor and my family decided some year ago to buy a house from some of our friends. We love it!
We had a great time at this lovely house in West Windsor, VT. Last February vacation we stayed in Brownsville and fell in love with the area. I was delighted when I found this great house on VRBO. It was the perfect size for our family (2 adults and 3 kids) and well equipped. Not to mention, the beautiful scenery. You can sled, skate and snow shoe just outside your door. No need to go anywhere. We rented our snow shoes from the Windsor Recreation Center (for free). We skied at Pico and Stratton and came home to peace and quiet. Our evenings were spent in front of the fire and sometimes a movie. There is a pretty good movie collection with some recent releases and oldie but goodies. It you are a skier and like to pick and choose your mountain this is the place to stay. You have access to Okemo, Stratton, Bromley, Killington, and Pico. Depending on the mountain you choose, it can be a drive but well worth it when you can come home to peace and quiet. Not to mention, if you take a day off from skiing there are several activities outside your door. On our last day of vacation, we went dog sledding in Windsor (http://greatriveroutfitters.com) followed by a tour of the vodka distillery (Silo) and of course the Harpoon Brewery both next door to the dog sledding. On the way home, we stopped at the Skunk Hollow Tavern (approximately 4 miles from the house) for a delicious dinner. As you can see, there are tons of options in the area or you can just relax and enjoy the house and its beautiful surroundings. Thanks again Mads and family for sharing your vacation home with us! My family and I just returned from a week in this very quiet and secluded home in a wooded area in Vermont. Every thing was just perfect.
The house is spacious, but not toooo big. Just right. The bedroom and bathroom on the first floor was terrific for my elderly Mom, who doesn't do stairs. The kitchen was well equipped with every imaginable utensil, and loved the spices from Anne's.
We visited the extended family of the owner...at the convenience store in Plainfield, NH....and even bought several skeins of wool yarn from the sheep farmer, Hilda.... The extended family made this a very special trip!
We visited several fall festivals in Newfane, Dummerston, and even drove over to Lincoln, NH. A great week, and thank you for your hospitality.
What an amazing place situated on its own land in the beautiful Vermont countryside. Very professional and easy reservation and financial transaction with Mads, the owner.
We have stayed in many vacation rentals across Europe, Canada and the United States and this property was right up there. Everything listed is accurate, location was excellent, property was extremely clean and maintained.
I would wholeheartedly recommend a vacation here to my closest friends and family too.
The Skunk Hollow Tavern at Hartland junction is well worth a visit (5 mins drive) as is the Harpoon Micro Brewery in Windsor. Both are excellent for food and drink. Farther afield is Hanover (Dartmouth), Stowe and Burlington again because of the freeways proximity (10 mins drive) a short trek indeed.
We would without doubt rent the property again without question. Many thanks for a wonderful stay.
The house is uniquely situated between the towns of Windsor, Brownsville and Woodstock. Approx. 20 min. drive to shopping, theater, music, fine dining and recreation.
