The home boasts a variety of entertaining options including; your very own back yard Olympic sized Sand Volley ball/badminton court, private outdoor hot tub, multiple patio dining areas, ping pong table(s), separate billiards and media room, separate BBQ prep kitchen and much more.

The separate entertaining and billiards room allows for guests to both rest and relax, while other guests entertain and play.

Convenient central location: Centrally located, roughly 5-10 minute drive to both Santa Barbara and Goleta beaches, down town State St, multiple golf courses, mountain and beach hiking, restaurants, shopping, and the University. Accessible to major bicycling and jogging routes. The location is just out of the typical coastal fog line which makes for great outdoor entertaining and better weather than most of the SB area.

Bachelorette weekend for 8 girls

Hosted a weekend getaway for 8 girls, the house was a great alternative to hotel rooms. We used the game room to hang out, play pool and other games, also used the volleyball court to play some badminton. Loved the spacious backyard, would have been fun to bbq on a warm day. Well stocked kitchen, bathrooms and bedrooms were all very nice and clean. Loved that there were heaters everywhere since the nights were still a little chilly. Also loved the location, a very short drive to downtown and other excursions we did. Some of us even went running to the beach every morning. Wished that the sitting area had some couches and that the kitchen was a little bigger because we spent a lot of time in both rooms but that's not really a bad review because this was well advertised. Also fyi the pool table is not regulation size and a tad old, and please buy new birdies =)

I booked this house for a girls weekend, and it fit our needs perfectly. It is very well maintained, clean and well stocked. The outdoor space beautiful and felt secluded. The owner makes the rental process very easy. The home is about a 10 minute, or $20 cab ride from lower State Street.

I was organizing a girls' weekend in Santa Barbara and came across this rental on VRBO. My friends and I really love being outside and hanging out while cooking meals. This house was absolutely perfect for our low-key style! The backyard is amazing. It is huge but you wouldn't guess it from the front view. We loved spending mornings outside with a cup of coffee--especially since we had an absolutely gorgeous holiday weekend in February. The guest house was perfect for our movie night and all of the rooms fit our needs. We could have comfortably slept 2-3 more people as well. The owners are easy to contact and prompt with responding to your questions. They keep the home clean and well-stocked. If I ever find myself looking for a rental property in Santa Barbara again I would go back to this property without question.

Fantastic Property for Creating Memories!

This property was absolutely perfect for our family. Plenty of room in the split wing home for our 4 adults and 3 kids. One room was never even used. The beds were very comfortable, a heater in every room allowed for individual heating preferences, and the fresh flowers were an awesome touch! The whole home was very clean and inviting, and the well-stocked kitchen had all of the accessories needed to cook every night. The game room, volleyball court and spa were in great condition, and the kids loved riding on the little bikes. I wish we would have had more time there...at least a week next time! Thank you so much for your hospitality, and for providing a wonderful, affordable vacation for our family.

I would highly recommend the Farmers Market on State Street on Tuesdays. We came back to the property with fresh bread, fruit and veggies. This was our first time visiting Santa Barbara, and we fell in love.

Rental home with lots of amenities

This house is deceiving in a good way! From the driveway it doesn't look like it would contain so much as the house looks like an average-sized bungalow, but it certainly has its wonderful surprises! The backyard area/game room would probably be the gold of the rental home! It has a sandpit to play volleyball or badminton, there's a ping pong table, a basketball hoop, a gas lamp, and the backyard is just so spacious! The game room is well equipped for the outdoor and indoor activities: it has a billiard table, a good sized plasma TV and a sound system. They also have board games if all the other amenities weren't enough (my friends and I finished a 1000-piece puzzle). They had a ping pong board to put over the billiards table, which was good because the weekend we were over was a bit rainy most of the time, so it was convenient rather than using the ping pong table outside. Of course there was a jacuzzi in their patio off the master suite but sadly we couldn't utilize due to the weather. Overall, our stay was nice and cozy...the main house is just too cute and easy to feel at home! Too bad my friends and I only stayed for a weekend for my birthday/reunion. The owner is nice and it was good working with her throughout the whole process. This place would be perfect to stay in during spring/summer time! Enjoy to you prospective occupants! I'm sure you'll love it as much as my friends and I did :)
