In addition, Truckee airport offers glider rides and lessons as well as hot air balloon rides. If games of chance are more your flavor, we are just 30 miles West of from Reno. Other Activities: We are 200 yards from Glacier Park with hundreds of miles of well market hicking trails and vista points. Spring and summer brings many outdoor activities to the area, such as mountain biking, fishing, golf, hiking and rock climbing. However if you would like to just take in the sunset while sitting on our deck or patio you have come to the right place!
Golf: Tahoe Donner, where we are located has it's own golf corse and driving range. In addition there are many other golf corses in the immediate area, including Cayote Moon, Old Greenwood, Squaw Valley, Northstar at Tahoe, Truckee Municipal, as well as a dozen others.
Ski: We are conveniently located with easy access to premier resorts such as Squaw Valley, Northstar at Tahoe and Alpine Meadows. In the winter, Truckee is a favorite destination for skiers and boarders. Five nearby resorts offer some of the best skiing imaginable. There are also snow mobile tours, trekking, and cross country skiing right in Tahoe Donner.
