Lovely Bear Paw Cabin
We had a great stay at this Cabin . I was very happy when we arrived , the photos really don't do the cabin justice . It was very spacious , warm and comfortable . We got to ski at Heavenly which was about 10 minutes by car and also at Northstar which is right at the other side of the lake so just over an hours drive , but well worth it . To be able to come back from a days skiing and hit the hot tub out the back and look up at the stars whilst sipping a cool glass of Chardonnay was absolutely lovely ! When we arrived there was no fireguard which caused us a concern , we rang the owners , they told us they would get one asap . We went to get some groceries and when we returned the was a brand new fire guard right there on the porch . You really cannot beat that . We have been to South Lake Tahoe 10 seasons on the spin and this was the best accommodation we have had ! Would definitely stay here again !!

Since our cabin's fireplace is a sealed gas corner unit, I'm sorry to say we had not thought about a need for a fireplace screen. However, when you called and brought to my attention the glass is hot and you had a young child, I was more than happy to purchase one. For all future young guests there is now a fireplace screen available.
Great to hear after a day of skiing you were able to enjoy the hot tub.
