The rooftop terrace features a mini bar, palapa with hammocks and seating for ocean viewing by day and star gazing at night! Surrounded by virgin jungle and located within the gated residential community of the 'Grand Sirenis Resort', only minutes away from some of the best snorkeling and scuba diving areas as well as shopping and nightlife makes 'Villa Arrecife' the perfect family vacation villa!

Some of the amenities offered at the resort are: a hospital, a small variety store, gift shops, lazy river, 3 pools, a coffee shop, snack bars, 2 large buffets, an ice cream shop, poolside activities, yoga, bike riding, tennis, archery, and much, much more!
Villa Arrecife and Akumal: 'Villa Arrecife' is located a mere 5 minutes north of the town of Akumal. This quaint town is a ecologically protected area and has much to offer travellers of all ages! If you are looking for a high-end restaurant, Lol-Ha located on Akumal Bay beach is superb! The adjoining beach bar is perfect for sipping on a cerveza and watching the ocean, and you cannot finish a day at the beach without visiting the ice cream store! La Buena Vida is a beach bar and restaurant located on Half Moon Bay beach ~ where during the day you can snorkel and watch sea turtles in their natural habitat!
The beaches of Akumal are lined with talc-like sand and Akumal Bay is very shallow (perfect for younger travellers). The warm waters of the Caribbean Sea meet with the fresh waters from the land in Yalku Lagoon ~ an excellent spot for snorkeling and seeing spectacular displays of fish and coral.
Akumal also has small vendors and stores which sell souvenirs, jewelery and groceries.
Villa Arrecife and Tourist Attractions: We understand if you want to just soak up the warm Caribbean rays and enjoy the local beaches as well as beautiful 'Villa Arrecife' itself, however if you want to truly experience the Riviera Maya and see all it has to offer, you will not be disappointed!
There are a wide variety of activities to suit all tastes! Amongst the Riviera Maya family attractions you will find snorkeling, dolphins, sea lions, exotic birds, monkeys of many species, and rich flora. Xel-Ha, Xcaret, Aktun Chen, Aktun Chi, Xplor, Dolphinarius, Tres Rios Ecopark, and Crococun Crocodile Park and Regional Zoo are just a few of the larger attractions that can be found in the Riviera, but there are an abundance of smaller cenotes, botanical gardens, and an aviary located in Playacar, that are equally as fantastic! For the more adventurous there is even skydiving! Golfers can spend time at Playacar, horseback riding at 'Rancho Bonita Loma', and deep sea fishing can also be found in this aquatic paradise!

Guestbook comments from the owner
The service was fantastic by the owner and staff on site.
The home was beautiful and more then we could have hoped for. Our own private pool was wonderful for everyone in our party.
It is a little drive from the airport, but unless you are staying in a spot overrun by tourists, you must drive a little. The public beach in Akumal was an amazing place to snorkel, and the Lo-Ha restaurant at the same beach was amazing. The ruins of Coba are well worth the drive. Tulum was great and Explor too!
