Guestbook comments from the owner
We recently travelled to Austin for a UT football game weekend and to visit with our children who are students at UT. What an amazing home! Megan, the owner, was very accommodating to every small request we had (A/C was super cold when we arrived on a steamy day, bottles of water in the fridge and fresh, clean, luxurious linens on the beds - what more could you ask?!)
This home is owner managed (unlike many homes you may rent from VRBO/HomeAway). This is a huge plus - the owners will go out of their way to make sure you are happy. Luckily, everything was perfect upon arrival, but the hospitality was definitely noted and appreciated.
The home very convenient to the downtown scene, without being directly in the middle. We walked along the hike & bike trail to get to the Rainey Street district and 6th street. I would recommend a cab for late night ($5 cab fare).
Overall, this home was perfect for our stay and we are already planning next season's visit!
