An Island Place Cottage is located on Pine Avenue and the AMI Trolley route, halfway between the Gulf and the city pier! This is a cute, one bedroom cottage, with high beamed ceilings, wood floors, and shabby chic throughout! Granite countertops, full size stainless refrigerator, light cooking, with toaster oven, microwave, two burners, and a dishwasher. Queen sized bed, 2 digital televisions, hi-speed wireless internet. Close to restaurants, shopping, the Sandbar Restaurant, Ginny's & Jane E's, the City Pier. Enjoy bike riding, kayaking (kayak rentals are a block away, and you can put in to the canal across the street!). The free trolley runs every 20 minutes up and down the 7 mile island, with stops all along the way, for shopping and sightseeing and restaurants in Holmes Beach, Bradenton Beach, and Anna Maria!

Also, for larger groups, rent Island Place Cottage (#178363), a darling 1BR cottage adjacent to Pineapple Cottage!
About Owner/manager

I had been coming to Anna Maria Island for years and have called it my home for over 20 years! I own An Island Place Realty and Coastal Cottages AMI, which handles vacation rentals.

This home is located on Florida's Anna Maria Island, a quaint barrier island nestled in the Gulf of Mexico south of Tampa Bay. Comprised of three cities—Anna Maria on the north end, Holmes Beach in the middle and Bradenton Beach to the south—AMI is one of the only places where the 'old Florida' charm still exists. The Island has every convenience needed including multiple award-winning restaurants, including Beach Bistro, Sandbar Restaurant, Sign of the Mermaid, and Waterfront Restaurant. There is also plenty of shopping available along historic Pine Avenue in Anna Maria and Bradenton Beach's historic Bridge Street. Perfect vacation!

It was our first visit to Anna Maria Island. Perfect vacation! The cottage was great for our family of 4. The beaches were amazing....picturesque. My husband took the two boys to fish off the Rod 'n Reel Pier. Not one rainy day. Thank you, Florida! We already booked a place for next year as we enjoyed this area so much. We will book this cottage again. Thank you for the memories.

Great for kids and dog!

We had a great time at Pineapple Cottage. Really enjoyed the location and the kids especially loved walking to the pier. This was our first stay directly on Anna Maria and we would definitely visit again. We especially enjoyed the private backyard and the pool was well maintained. Thank you for such an enjoyable family vacation!

This was our second year staying at the Pineapple Cottage...already booked for next year. Some of our family liked it so much while visiting, they will be renting An Island Place Cottage out front next year. What a wonderful vacation spot...great location, wonderful facilities, and a great place for our dogs! Just got back and can't wait for next year!

This is the place to stay in Anna Maria. Great heated pool and outdoor area. Owner and Gina were the best. We stayed a week and will return in the future.

First Visit to Anna Maria

As we have begun to pack for home (we leave tomorrow), it is with much hesitation. This was our first visit to Anna Maria Island. Won’t be our last! We are already talking about next year! “Pineapple Cottage” has been such a relaxing refuge for our family this week. Everything is so quaint and comfortable, not over-done. Beautiful, none the less. We love the location, and I wouldn’t change a thing….especially being able to float in the lovely, private pool. Thanks for a great vacation!!!
