The SeaView Sands Beach Cabin is bungalow-style cottage located just a short 500-meter walk to one of PEI's most wonderful beaches, and a 20 minute drive to everything Anne and several incredible gold courses. This is the way to fully experience and enjoy all that PEI has to offer.
The Seaview Beach Cottage features an open-concept design with a large family style kitchen/ eating area/ living room.
The two bedrooms are comprised of a mater bedroom with a Queen sized sleighbed, and a second bedroom featuring two twin-sized beds. There is also a double sized sofa bed.
The sundeck is complete with cedar patio furniture and a propane barbeque.
The kitchen is fully equipped with a refrigerator, oven, stove, microwave, toaster, and coffee maker, cutlery and dishes.
Linens / bedding, towels and beach towels are provided.
PROXIMITY TO PEI TOURIST SITES: The Seaview Beach Cottage is located central to both Cavendish and Summerside, being approximately 20 minutes from each of these popular destinations. Charlottetown is approximately 50 minutes away.
Cavendish is well known as the heart of all of the Anne of Green Gables attractions including the official site, and Avonlea Village. Cavendish is also home to amusement parks, artist studios, the Cavendish National Park (and Cavendish Beach), fine and casual dining, and golf.
Summerside is a local commercial center but also hosts various tourists attractions including the popular 'Anne and Gilbert' musical and fine and casual dining.
Charlottetown, the capital city, has significant historical significance related to the formation of Canada via the 1864 Charlottetown Conference.
GOLF AND FISHING: PEI is generally considered Canada's number one golf destination. The Island is home to over 30 courses, including several considered amongst the top courses in Canada and North America. The Seaview Beach Cottage is located within 20 minutes of several fine golf courses.
There are various deep-sea fishing establishments only a short-drive from the Seaview Beach Cottage. Deep-sea fishing for mackerel and cod is an exciting experience for kids and adults of all ages!
THE BEACH: Wether you are coming to PEI for a relaxing family vacation, to tour Anne of Green Gable sites, or for a golf retreat, the Seaview beach that is only a short 5 minute walk from the cottage is going to greatly enhance your stay in PEI. The beach extends for several kilometres and is always an adventure.
Be prepared to be enchanted while on early-morning sunrise beach strolls or romantic sunset beach walks.
For those with children, the beach will be an endless source of entertainment - digging, swimming, exploring, collecting - it is always great fun.
Children and adults of all ages are frequently seen strolling the beach - beachcombing for that special rock, shell, or piece of seaglass.
