Puerto de la Duquesa Vacation Rental apartment

We have just returned from this apartment in Duquesa and have to say that it was just perfect. From booking the apartment with Richard and his recommendation for car hire (which was excellent) to his directions to the apartment. We didn't have much experience of driving abroad but were happy to find that the transfer from Malaga airport to the apartment was relatively straightforward. When we arrived at the apartment we couldn't believe how lucky we had been to find such a beautiful apartment in a lovely area. The apartment had everything you could possibly need. It was really like being at home only better!! There was even lots of paperback books, cds and dvds to keep you entertained. Not that you needed it. The view from the enormous sun terrace was lovely and you could either just sit and read (in the sun all day) or watch the world go by. It was just a short stroll (1 minute) to the little bars and restaurants around the harbour. We only went for a week but there is certainly enough places to visit for a lot longer stay. Both myself and my husband would like to stay at the apartment again in the future and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to our friends and family.

The apartment is like a home from home and is tastefully and comfortably furnished and was spotlessly clean when we arrived. There are books, CDs and DVDs if you want them and also Sky TV with English channels. The kitchen is well equipped including a full size cooker, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine - we felt like we were borrowing a friend's apartment rather than staying in a holiday rental.

The aparment's own sun terrace is huge and a great place to catch the sun throughout the day or to bbq and eat al fresco at night while watching the world go by! The communal pool is a good size if you prefer that to swimming in the sea.

The apartment is so close to everything - the beach and the pretty bustling marina with its many bars and restaurants are within 2-3 minutes walk and a little mini market is just across the square.

Duquesa itself is charming and also the surrounding villages. We would recommend car hire in order to explore the beautiful surrounding countryside but if you prefer not to drive abroad once you reach Duquesa there are plenty of things to do and places to go close by without needing to use a car

We have only been back to the UK for 3 days and we're already planning our next visit!

We have just returned from 2 weeks at Richard's apartment.
It’s a very good location near to the beach and all the restaurants at Puerto Duquesa.
The apartment is well fitted out and the very large sun terrace is the highlight for our relaxation with a book and a bottle.
We also appreciate the security of the apartment and its underground car parking.
This is our second visit and will certainly not be the last.
