Asheville Apartment Rental Photos and Description
1 bedroom, 1 bath, sleeps 2
Our sweet little apartment, aka the 'Little Sister', offers a quiet and peaceful escape from the bustle of downtown, while only a 5 minute drive away, located in the beautiful Grovepark neighborhood. We have a very comfortable queen size bed that is topped with a memory foam pad that is nestled in the corner of the room with windows on both sides. During the summer you may sleep with the windows and screen door open while listening to the water flowing in the garden and the birds chirping in the yard. There is a deck off the back that has a table and chairs, perfect for enjoying the garden or a glass of wine before you go out. The apartment has a galley kitchen and living room equipped with satellite TV, DVR and high speed internet. The Little Sister is attached to our home, so we are nearby to offer anything you may need to make your vacation better - whether it's restaurant recommendations and hiking advice, or a bike or cooler to borrow. We love Asheville, and are happy to point you in the direction you're trying to get to. Our paths may cross as we sit outside on our deck watching the sunset - if so we will wave and welcome you. However we have provided curtains on your deck for your privacy, so feel free to use them.

About Sarah Nie, reservation manager
Lynne is a commercial photographer with a downtown studio that guests may visit by appointment. Steve manages various New York City musicians/performers and is also a musician himself. His band, Ol Hoopty plays in various music venues in downtown Asheville occasionally. Steve and Lynne are both very involved in the Asheville community, and love to keep up to date on what's happening musically and with the restaurant scene, so don't hesitate to ask what's new that you shouldn't miss.

Why Sarah Nie, reservation manager chose Asheville
We love the Grove Park neighborhood for it's friendly people, convenient location (5 minutes from downtown), and the scenic hills that provide great walking and biking. Lynne loves to bike up Sunset Mtn. from the house, as there are hardly any cars up there and there are beautiful views.
Being so close to Beaver Lake is nice as well as a place to run, walk, or birdwatch at the bird sanctuary next door. There are also many great locally owned restaurants in N. Asheville within walking distance of the apartment such as Ambrozia, the Grove Park inn, Vinnie's Italian and Avenue M.
What makes this apartment unique
Our perennial flower garden, water feature, and vegetable garden is a plus for our guests, who are free to enjoy the bounties of these. Many of our guests have commented how much they enjoy sitting on their back porch that overlooks the garden, and having an in town host who can steer them in the right direction. We enjoy sharing our favorite places with our guests. We are even making arrangements with restaurant owners and other service providers to offer exclusive discounts and services for our guests.
Guestbook comments from the manager
We enjoyed our stay in your little "suite" - all the comforts of a hotel with none of the hassle! We packed in as much of Asheville could offer in our 4.5 days - and still feel like we missed stuff. So we'll be back - maybe in spring when all the flowers are blooming. We highly recommend the NC Arboretum! There weren't enough meals in the day to hit all the restaurants we saw.
