This brand new 2 bedroom condo offers comfortable accommodation for up to 6 guests. There are 2 bedrooms & 2 bathrooms. The master bedroom has an en-suite bathroom and walk-in-closet. The leather sofa can be converted into a very comfortable double-size bed.
A ten-minute walk from Toronto Eaton Centre and the Dundas Square, right in the heart of downtown Toronto. Well connected to public transit, streetcars and buses can take you to Dundas or Castle Frank subway stations within minutes. The condo is steps from a major grocery store, a 24h coffee shop (Canada's favourite, Tim Horton's) and restaurants and shops in trendy & historic Cabbagetown district.
The condo features granite countertops, new stainless steel appliances, washer/dryer, and fully equipped kitchen. With all the comforts and conveniences of home, here you can enjoy a cup of coffee on the spacious balcony as you watch the sun rise, explore the city by day and then return in the evening to prepare delicious meals.
Location: Cabbagetown, is a neighbourhood just north of where the condo is located (Dundas & Parliament). Cabbagetown was once one of the poorest neighbourhoods in Toronto, but is now a much sought-after enclave boasting restored Victorian homes, friendly neighbourhood pubs and one of the best cafes in the city. According to the Cabbagetown Preservation Association, Cabbagetown comprises 'the largest continuous area of preserved Victorian housing in North America'.
Parliament street was named for the Parliament Buildings of Upper Canada, built in 1794 on the south side of Front Street (then Palace Street) just west of Parliament Street. Parliament is the main arterial street which runs through Cabbagetown and is lined with restaurants, cafes and shops.
I stayed here with my husband and adult son (we are from the UK) for 6 days and everything about it was excellent. Check in was so easy and we were met by the extremely pleasant Jerome who talked us round the condo and answered our many questions about Toronto. In the evening I couldn't find the hair dryer and contacted Deep and within 10 minutes a hair dryer was dropped off to me!! I call that excellent service!!
The condo was immaculately clean, modern and very comfortable. It had everything we needed including a washer and a drier complete with washing liquid! We didn't cook there because we ate out each evening but we could easily have done so as it was perfectly well equipped.
Location wise ... It is about 15 minutes walk to the Eaton Centre ... But there are street cars in very close for anyone who prefers not to walk ... The parallel Parliament Street has plenty of good restaurants (I personally recommend The house on Parliament Street and The Pear Tree . There is also a good grocery store just nearby.
Also there is a parking place under the condo building specifically for your use if you need it.
Excellent accommodation and I would highly recommend this to anyone visiting Toronto.
Convenient location, very easy to reach the many places I wanted to visit. Excellent service - prompt and attentive. Amenities were excellent and as described. Would recommend (and return) without hesitation.
I stayed with my family comfortably in this lovely apartment which had all amenities. Deep was very helpful and guided us to the nearest groceries (Freshco) and a place of worship was also walking distance on Parliament street. Downtown & Yonge street is a few blocks away (few stops by 505 Dundas street car which one can take literally steps away from the apartment location). Tim Hortons, the lovely coffeee shop is also walking distance from the condo.
Very well chosen location, interiors and amenities and if I were to describe in one word about the condo I would say "delighted"
5 of my friends and I stayed in this apartment over the New Year period and it was great. Deep was very accomodating both before and during the visit, and arranging payments was easy using paypal (I live in the UK). The apartment had everything we needed in a good location - not far from Dundas square (you can walk or get a tram) and close to Tim Hortons and a supermarket. The place was very clean and fresh and I would definately stay there again. There was definately enough space for 6 people, with the sofa bed being comfortable too. Everything we needed was provided and the building was secure. Thanks Deep for a good stay!
