A luxury 3 bedroom family villa with private heatable swimming pool in a quiet location near beaches, water parks, restaurants and golf courses. Casa Romantica is situated in the quiet area of Quinta Dos Alamos with very pretty streets, green areas and public parks. The Portuguese village of Guia is only a 5 minute walk away from the villa. Guia also has over 25 good value restaurants. The town of Albufeira and the new Algarve Shopping Centre are only a 5 minute drive from the villa. The beaches are only a 10 minute drive away. There is a private 9m x 5m mosaic heated swimming pool with roman steps and a shallow end. There is also an outdoor shower and sun terracing around the pool. There is also a roof top sun terrace providing panoramic views over the mountains. The property is totally enclosed and child-friendly with gates on all the entrances to the swimming pool. There is a separate seating/dining area with easy access to a built-in barbeque.

There are daily fish, fruit and vegetable markets as well as supermarkets in Guia. The villa is in an ideal location for golfers and holidaymakers alike. The town of Albufeira and the new Algarve Shopping Centre are only a 5-minute drive from the villa. The beaches of Gale (Praia da Gale) and Castello are a 10 minute drive away with excellent stretches of fine sand, panoramic views, beach bars and watersports. Local attractions include Water Slide Parks, Zoomarine (Aquarium/Seals/Dolphins), Krazy World (mini golf, reptile and animal parks), Zoo - Barão São João (Tropical birds, monkeys, domestic animals), Water skiing, Surfing, Swimming, Scuba Diving, Jet skiing, Snorkeling, Sailing, Yachting, Golf, Tennis, Water Park. In the main summer months many beaches operate children's clubs.

Additional information about rental rates

  • A 25% deposit is payable with the initial booking. The remainder of the rental cost is payable 10 weeks before you arrive. A separate £200 security 'breakages' deposit is payable with the balance and refundable 14 days after your return, providing that there has been no problems reported by our property management company. All payments can be made by cheque, bank transfer or international bank transfer. Receipts are issued for all payments. Contact the owner for a booking form, which has all the details. The owner is contactable every day by phone or e-mail.
  • Pool heating is optional for an additional £125 per week.
  • Villa air conditioning/heating is included. Baby cots, high chairs, strollers are provided free of charge. Additional children can be accommodated on temporary beds, which are provided free of charge. Clients must vacate by 10:30 in the morning. We can provide details of a taxi company for airport transfers and details of car hire companies.

Notes: There is a small play room with a separate TV and Sony Playstation 2 console. There is a good selection of children's toys and games in the games room. Digital satellite TV for Sky channels (and BBC Card) is available in the main living room. There is an additional dining area in the kitchen, which has got a built-in marble table. The villa has a small safe. Cots/buggies, highchairs/sterilizers can all be provided free of charge. Upon arrival there will be a Welcome Pack. Smoking and pets are not permitted. Winter lets can be arrangement. Pool heating available at an additional cost. All linen, including towels for the villa are provided and changed every week. Beach towels are not provided. Cleaners attend the villa three times a week. Wheelchair access is available. The swimming pool area is child-friendly with gates on all entrances to the pool area. There are small steps into the shallow end of the pool for children to use. The shallow end is 1m deep and the deep end is 2m deep.

They also sell tickets to water parks, zoomarine, golf, boat trips and excursions at discount prices. There is also an emergency telephone Nº provided. All guests receive a welcome food pack with our compliments. Zoomarine Park (sea life): 10 min drive Two Waterslide Parks: 10 min & 20 min drive Horse riding over the sand dunes: 10 min drive Water sports & jet ski on Galé Beach Big game & Reef fishing from Albufeira marina just 10 min drive Krazy World (zoo & mini golf): 20min drive River trips, Jeep Safaris, Sea day trips with barbecue on a secluded beach. Excursions to local markets and other places of interest in the Algarve, to Seville and Lisbon. You can buy tickets to most of the above plus much more with a 10% discount from our local Management Office.
