House, 6 Bedrooms + Other (See Description), 5.5 Baths (Sleeps 16)

This is the perfect house for your Isle of Palms or Charleston, South Carolina beach getaway! There is plenty of room for everyone and plenty of things to do in this tastefully decorated reverse floor plan house. Directly across the street from the beautiful Isle of Palms beach. Sit on one of the front porches and enjoy the ocean view. Take a swim in the full size heated pool. Cook in the gourmet, fully equipped kitchen or grill out on the deck. Play a game or watch TV in the game room directly off the pool. Enjoy a good book or a movie in the great room off the kitchen. This house is approximately 4000 square foot, has 6 bedrooms, 5 1/2 bathrooms, two living areas, hardwood floors, fireplace, an elevator and a large private pool. There is 800 additional square feet of outdoor decks with a spectacular ocean view from the front porches.

Lower Level: There is a Jack and Jill bath with two attached bedrooms one containing two twin beds and the other containing two sets of bunk beds. Next, is a large bedroom with direct pool access and a private bath room.This bedroom contains a king bed and serves as a second master bedroom. In the front of the house is a bedroom with a queen bed and a full private bath. The game room is equipped with a flat screen TV, wet bar, mini frig, ice machine and plenty of games,puzzles, books and DVD’s. There is also a laundry room. The pool is on this level and a half bath is located just off the pool. The outdoor shower is perfect for washing off sand after a day at the beach!

Upper Level: Climb the stairs or take the elevator to the second floor where you will find a large, open kitchen with stainless appliances including 2 refrigeratos and granite countertops. The adjoining living room has a fireplace and flat screen TV with floor large French doors allowing great ocean views and comfortable seating. A dining area containing a large table provides seating for 16 directly off the kitchen. This level has a large master bedroom with a fireplace and a small sitting area. The master also has a trundle bed with two twin mattresses. An additional bedroom with twin extra long beds and a bathroom is located just off the master. All linens are provided. We even provide beach towels and beach chairs!

Privately Owned and Managed: This house is privately owned and managed. We use the house ourselves and therefore take great care to keep it in good condition and well appointed. We hope you enjoy your time in our home and that you will tell your friends and family about us.

Our primary home is in Northeast Ohio where we own and manage a machine shop. We fell in love when the Charleston area while our son attended the Citadel Military Academy.

From the moment we walked into this house, it felt warm and relaxing to us. We love having two living area and so many places to sit and relax, both inside and outside. Our favorite place is the upper front porch with a cup of coffe in the morning watching the ocean!

If you are doing a bit of 'fence sitting' trying to decide between rental properties- STOP! This is the perfect place for a family gathering. My family of twelve had the pleasure of staying here last week for our daughters wedding in Charleston. Offering all the ammenities of home and then some, we were so pleased! Plenty of space so you never feel cramped and the kitchen is large enough for multiple cooks. My husband determined it lacked for nothing in his attempts to cook for everyone. Everything is labeled for easy access- light switches, drawers, instructions for tv remotes and appliances. The tweens and teens in our group were thrilled with the gameroom stocked with video games, books, table and board games. How thrilled I was to find a book I had been meaning to read was riht there on the book shelf. I spent one entire afternoon lounging on the porch, reading and gazing at the sea. The master bedroom suite is inviting and has a closet so spacious it was a perfect spot for the baby in our group to rest quiet and comfortably. Beach access is practically across the street with shopping just a few miles away. We were able to park four sedans in the basement garage so parking was not an issue. I jogged around the block several mornings and found the community to be very friendly. Our family is already planning a return trip. Thanks Kathy and Jim! Your attention to detail and the needs of your guests deserve more than 5 stars.

I recently rented this beautiful home for an annual "Beach Babes" weekend for 15 women. It suited our needs perfectly, with plenty of comfortable beds, spa-like bathrooms and incredible attention to detail by the home owners. The kitchen was a dream and we loved having the dining table big enough to seat everyone. We spent the mornings walking on the beach (access right across the street) and sipping coffee on the porch in the Amish gliders looking at the ocean. Everything about the home is very upscale and there are a lot of little touches, like providing hotel-sized toiletries and paper products that made us feel really pampered. I highly recommend this home for any group or family that wants to feel really special.

This house was perfect for our daughter's wedding.
It is beautifully furnished and had plenty of room to spread out and relax.
Owner's Response: Thank you, Jane. We get many wedding parties who stay at our house and then have the wedding and reception at one of the many great venues in the Charleston area. It is nice for everyone to stay together and have a place to relax!

Fantastic Home

What a wonderful vacation home. Comfortable, warm and inviting. 11 adults spent a week in this home. Had so many diffierent amenities we didn't even get a chance to enjoy them all. There are stacks of books, games, DVD's The bedrooms and bathrooms are large and comfortabke We especially loved the great room on the third floor Fantastic views, plently of seating, a dining table that seats 12. The kitchem is very well equipped with two full sized refrigerators. Kathy (the owner) was readily available to answer any questions. So well organized Informational books how to work all appiances, internet and remotes. Everything is labeled Couldn't ask for anything more Loved IT!!!!
Recommended for:  Age 55+, Girls Getaway, Sightseeing, Families with Teenagers, Families with Young Children

Beautiful house inside and out. Great to have two living areas. Across the street from beach access. Great outdoor furniture. Only thing we would change is the addition of a heated pool (since we were there in October).
