Our lodge is situated right on the banks of the river, with a view that cannot be matched! The major features you can enjoy are:

* fantastic views and large deck

* hot tub overlooking the river

* comfortable for large groups

* close to ski resorts and outdoor activities

In the summer you can relax on the deck in the warm evenings, lounging in the hammock or sitting at the table with friends. There is plenty of room for large groups and lots of seating. You can even take a dip in the hot tub, and stare at the stars.

The winter time often brings snow, and the river becomes a serene escape from the bustle of the city. Our lodge is located only minutes away from several ski resorts.

We are one of the few homes that can accommodate large groups. The home has 5 bedrooms:

Located on a beautiful bend in the sandy river, in Brightwood, Oregon. Although in a developed area, the lodge is very private and feels secluded, with empty lots on both sides. Trees and the river are the only things you will see.

Sandy River Lodge was the perfect place for our gathering of 10 women. As home base we were able to take in the Columbia River Gorge, Timberline Lodge, the Rose and Japanese Gardens, and Saturday Market. Each time we came back to Sandy River Lodge feeling as if we were coming home.

Our first night there we ate at the Rendezvous Grill http://www.rendezvousgrill.net/ , which was highly recommended to us by the locals and in the information was in the welcoming binder left for us.

The Kitchen was well equipped and our Chef enjoyed preparing our meals and relaxing while we out and about.

Our evenings were spent in the hot tub laughing and enjoying the wonderful outdoors. The mornings we often sat on the deck and watched the sun rise.

The owner was always quick to respond with my many questions while planing this get away. I highly recommend Sandy River Lodge for women's groups, and large family gatherings.

Our family will consider going back to Sandy River Lodge for future gatherings.

C2L Meet-Up

OMG this place is crazy amazing. A group of ladies did a meet-up and we stayed at the lodge and I just wish we had more time to enjoy it. The river behind the house put me to sleep in the evenings and was so enjoyable with my coffee in the morning. There were 10 of us ladies in total and we all had a comfy bed to sleep in after a very nice soak in the hot tub on the deck out back. The deck... again, OMG! The deck was the full length of the house and it was so nice to sit out there and watch folks fly-fishing or just playing while we had drinks and talked. Perfect way to end a day of playing in Portland or other areas close by.

One fantastic lodge that met every need our team needed for relaxation, meetings and just having a great time. The lodge's patio overlooks the Sandy River and on early mornings it was a pleasure to sit out there with a cup of coffee, listening to rush of the river sounds and watch the morning sunrise. Very close to the town of Sandy for groceries and many of our other needs. Also just up the highway are some of the finest restaurants in Oregon. The beds were comfortable and cozy. The decor match the wilderness of the surrounding area. We will return, if not as with a team but surely as a family.

Our group of 10 women found this to be the perfect spot as our home away from home. We came from various states and Canada. The owner was very accommodating and had someone greet us and check on us after our arrival to make sure everything was alright.
We enjoyed the barbecue and the hot tub in the evenings. Slept soundly on comfortable beds while listening to the flowing river.
We highly recommend Sandy River Lodge to large families, girls get away, and any other large group.
It was clean, had plenty of cookware, towels, etc. The pictures depicted the rental well. We were not disappointed.

We really enjoyed our stay at this house. The views are amazing, and the hot tub is such a nice perk to the house! Its a very cozy and comfortable house and everyone made memories for a lifetime!
