A comfortable apartment for two with pool, in a small village 300yds from sea

The sunny and comfortable apartment is on the ground floor in a two-story building and a patio surrounds the building. The building has only eight, one bedroomed apartments. It contains an open plan living/dining/kitchen with a garden view. The fully fitted kitchen is well equipped for self catering and there is a washing machine and a hair dryer.The bedroom has air conditioning/heating.

The comfortable apartment is ideal for one or two persons. It is 300 yards from the rocky shore. St. Julians, with its many shops, restaurants and Churches is within 5 minutes by car. Car hire is recommended but not essential. Parking outside the apartment is available for any hired cars. FOR FURTHER INFORMATION ALSO VISIT MY WEBSITE WWW.maltastar.co.uk. St. Julians has many language schools and they are easily accessible from the apartment as are numerous internet cafes. RENTAL INCLUDES WATER AND ELECTRICITY CONSUMPTIN. The pool is open between first May to September. Sometimes it is closed for maintenance, this is beyond my control.

With ramblers in mind late winter and early spring the Maltese islands offer the most fascinating country walks. The North West has a breathtaking array of scenic landscapes rich in geological features, secluded beaches, coastal cliffs, historical and archaeological sites, coastal towers and wayside chapels scattered in remote and sometimes inaccessible areas. The apartment is perfectly located for exploring the country side and coast near by.

Located in the area is the Mediterraneo Bio Park. A great way to understand more about marine life and its inhabitants through entertainment. You can also swim with the dolphins.

Thank you for letting us stay at your apartment. We combined it with another family staying in another area so we got to know Malta very well. The apartment was comfortable and clean and the location perfect to sight see all around. Thank you for arranging the taxi and car hire and Percius were efficient. The weather was the right temperature to walk around the scenic country side at the National Park and the beautiful old villages dotted around.



Can't wait to come back in the Spring.

We have owned this property for many years and it has undergone many face lifts inorder to keep it in proper order and make it as comfortable as possible for you as for us when we visit Malta which is frequently now that we are retired.

It is so well situated and suitable for young and older guests. Our adult children also love staying at the apartment which means it is suitable for all ages.

It's location is so convenient for quiet or lively attractions. All you have to do is turn left for open countryside and miles of promenade and right for lively St. Julians. The apartments are tucked away from the main road where you have access to busses or if you hire a car you can reach most of the island.

RELAX AND SIGHTSEE

Such a lovely week's holiday. Peaceful and relaxing with lots to see but at a gentle pace. Apartment is just far enough out from St Julian's to not suffer any noise but near enough that a short stroll to the bus stop and a 10 minute bus ride saw us right in the middle of the restaurants area of St Julian's waterfront. Very safe and friendly. No real need for a car - terrific public transport sytem. We saw the whole island for the price of a very cheap 5 day bus pass and a slightly dearer - but worth every cent - day trip around the whole island.

The apartment was just lovely. Fresh and clean, cool and comfortable, spacious and very well equipped. Lots of hot water, a sparkling modern shower room and a very good kitchen facility. The beds were really comfortable and my friend and I slept like logs throughout our stay. We were there in June and had the pool practically to ourselves whatever time of day we chose to cool off from the fabulously sunny weather..

I was looking for relaxation which didn't include nightclubbing so I can't comment on the clubs. But there is an abundance of good restaurants around to entertain you in the evenings and taxis and buses easily available when you are ready to retire for the night..

I would return tomorrow to the apartment and to Malta. As I said to start - such a lovely holiday!

Visit the various old beautifully preserved villages or the open countryside in the North West of the island.

IDEAL PLACE TO COMBINE RELAXING AND SIGHTSEEING

We were looking for somewhere where we could take a couple of weeks out for some well earned R&R and it certainly gave us the opportunity to do just that.

The apartment was probably the best in term of its facilities that we've stayed in and was ideally situated for exploring the island. We were able to combine relaxing by the sea with sightseeing and because nowhere in Malta was more than 30 minutes away we were even able to do both on the same day sometimes.

We would highly recommend the Las Palmas restaurant in Bahar ic Caghaq. The menu is extensive and the food very good quality at a reasonable price. If you don't want to eat out every night the local mini market is 2 minutes walk away and bar fresh meat and fish, which can be bought a 10 minute car journey down the road, provides you with everything you will need for your stay.

The walk to the beach was only 5 minutes and we found the ideal place to swim and sunbathe off the rocks just behind the Water Park. Clear blue water and ample space for a bit of undisturbed lounging ( weekends excepted of course!!)

Although a car isn't essential, as the public transport is very accessible and frequent, it did make getting around the island much easier and defiantly more convenient.

Al in all an ideal place to relax, but which provides the opportunity see all the sights of Malta as well.

GREAT SPOT TO RELAX AND UNWIND.

Just returned from our holiday in Malta. Enjoyed our stay at this location. Apartment is indeed sunny and bright and very well equipped. Very central and easy access to the rest of the island. Away from the hustle and bustle of the more densely inhabited areas in the south of the island. Enjoyed taking walks around the local countryside and by the sea. Neighbours very helpful when we returned one evening to find our electricity was off. Had the problem sorted in a short space of time.A bit disappointed to find the one thing not provided was a television. (hadn t picked this up on booking.) Would have brought a laptop for entertainment if we had realised this.Otherwise a much recommended place to stay.

LOVELY, MODERN AND WELL EQUIPPED APARTMENT

We had a lovely stay in Ms Bourne's apartment, which is located in a quiet area of the island, very well connected with public transports. The apartment is very nice, it has everything we needed and it is very quiet. Going around Malta was easy as buses to Valletta, to the Airport and to the ferries to Gozo run frequently at nearby stop, 5 min away. We would definitely recommend this place and Ms Bourne has been very helpful and kind.

IDEAL LOCATION IN MALTA IN A COZY RETREAT

It was a nice peaceful area where you can relax especially after a long day sightseeing in Valletta. We found it really easy to get around Malta as several bus routes stopped 5 minutes away from the apartment. There is a beach half sandy and half rocky where all the locals spend time on a Sunday, with the ice cream from Tony's where you can get all sorts of toppings.
The apartment itself was clean and was completely furnished with all the necessary tools for cooking or snacking (oil, salt, tea bags, croissants etc.). On the coffee table, a guide was left that had lots of instructions about the flat as well as the town Bachar-Ic-Caghaq.
What delighted us the most was the quietness of the area and I have already recommended it to my friends.

QUIET, CLEAN AND COMFORTABLE

Dear Rita,

Too bad we missed you, our stay was very satisfactory! The transfers were perfect!

The bus system however was a bit frustrating from time to time, but we managed through; it didn't stop us to see a lot of Malta and Gozo! But next time we'll rent a car. Especially to reach remote places, now we walked a lot (but we are young we shouldn't complain).

Thanks for all your great services with regard arranging the transfers and answering very fast any questions, perhaps we see us a next time!

The apartment is located in a quiet ares between the popular resorts of St. Julians, Paceville and St. Paul's Bay. Miles of coast line walking and good shopping are found in the St. Julians areas. Valletta the Capital is twenty minutes by car. There is so much to do for the adventurous: scuba diving,(Malta voted top dive destination in Europe according to Diver magazine), snorkeling, wind surfing, rock climbing, golf and for those looking for a slower pace; three thousand years of history, country and seaside walks. In late winter and early spring the Maltese Islands offer the most fascinating country walks, breathtaking array of scenic landscapes ,quiet coves and tranquil harbours. Three quarters of an hour away by car you can catch the ferry to the island of Gozo. A thirty minute crossing will take you to this enchanting island. Malta has year-round music, theatre and art galleries and is an island for all seasons.

In the vicinity there is the Mediterraneo Water Park. This is popular with water rides, an attractive pool and Marine Park where one can swim with dolphins.
