Book our additional cottages on the property, The Game Room, homeaway #287150, and The Pond Cottage, homeaway #287142 and bring the whole family! Hiking, biking, and canoeing are all popular activities at Rustic River Retreats, as well as just enjoying the peace of nature, the surrounding woods and the Grand River. Located just minutes from the areas premiere wineries, covered bridges and restaurants, this is the perfect spot to enjoy all the area has to offer, while having a peaceful retreat to return to. Geneva on the Lake and the Lake Erie marina are just 20 minutes away, and the best steelhead fishing around is nearby!

We are located in the heart of the Grand River Valley Viticultural Area, home to several of the areas award winning wineries, fantastic restaurants and the best fishing around! Self-driving tours of the wineries and covered bridges are major tourist attractions, and our central location puts us in close proximity. We have canoe and kayak access to the Grand River on site, or the Tote Road boat launch is 1/4 mile down the road for trailer access. Just 15 minutes away you will find Geneva-on-the-Lake, Ohio's oldest resort, that offers loads of family fun - arcades, water park, miniature golf, and the best donuts around - Madsens! Geneva State Park offers boat access to Lake Erie, public beaches and several sport fishing charters. The Historic Ashtabula Harbor offers fine and casual dining, antiquing and shopping. Bring your bike and enjoy miles of quiet and scenic trail traveling the Western Reserve Greenway Trail, just 5 minutes away, with parking available.
