STEPS TO THE BEACH, PRIVATE POOL, 5-STAR, 5 BEDS/3 BATHS RALPH LAUREN FURNISH!

Beautiful well kept home in great location. True 5 BR home and with bunks in 2 bedrooms it is really well set up. We stayed over spring break with a mix of 7 adults and older kids from from 2 families, and were totally comfortable thanks to the bunks- brilliant! Tiara is the owner and manages the rental, and she is very professional and amazingly responsive to all needs. She kindly supplies beach towels, when we got there they were missing and she came over in 15 minutes with more. Few days later we had an issue with pool heat and she was there in minutes to adjust it. Very nice corner of Destin, very short walk to public beach or state park beach and couple block walk to nearby dining options as well as a bike/scooter rental spot nearby. Tiara provides two decent bikes, nice neighborhoods to bike or walk and a good bike/jogging path right there along Scenic 98, which is just a local road at that end. Nice Publix grocery store / liquor store is super convenient just few blocks away. Marina/ harbor area a short drive. Being off the beach has it's benefits- a little more protected from wind/ sun. Private, heated, well protected pool was a blessing. The weather was unusually cool in the 50's and 60's so we asked Tiara about keeping the pool 90 degrees, we gladly paid the extra heating cost and it saved the week. This area is a little more upscale and not over-run with party spring breakers, just a nice mix of families and college kids. The few spring breakers in nearby homes were nice kids, thoughtful and well behaved and added a lively fun atmosphere. With a large protected inland bay as well as the ocean there are a lot of water-sports opportunities close by like boat and jetski rentals, fishing, parasailing, kayaking, and Tiara mentioned it is a good location to learn kite boarding. Didn't play golf this trip but couple decent looking courses very nearby. Would come back, and would love to check it out in the summer.
